This scene is so messed up. I mean, why would Dracula not let her be with him, be what he is, and then, to top it off, ask and have her KILL him? That makes no sense at all. He loves her and she loves him. They should have been together. It would have been beautiful and perfect. But instead he just had to go and have her kill him. It would have been a perfect Beauty and the Beast romance but whatever. I ship them forever. Screw Mina's fiancée.
Kylie Mattinson He did it cause he loves to much and would rather die than take away her soul. In the end, he wanted her to have a heart beat. And he didn't want to be the way he is anyways and he doesn't want her to feel the pain and since he never what death was like, he must have found redemption in it. This is probably the most romantic tragic love story since Romeo and Juliet
It's a beautiful story, and I'll admit, I cried while reading the subtitles. But, all I could think when I watched the actors was, "God, these two are terrible." Great, passionate voices; horrible facial expressions and movements. It looks really stilted and unnatural, and the acting is half of the show quality for me. The leads really wrecked it; I felt like they really just wanted to get it over with and go home. Not a stellar performance, by any means.

The ending is terrible because Dracula and Mina should be together forever. Mina should have become vampire. This is why I don’t watch Dracula ballet.
