After a while with nothing, a big 7Gb update on the PS5? Has to be worth checking out right? Let's jump in and take a look and see what it's all about.

About the game:
Thanks to the cooperation with FlixBus, FernbusSimulator lets you experience the world as a driver of large coaches on European highways and roads in great detail - now as well on the current console generation! Discover many countries and sights from the Eiffel tower in Paris to the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin and even further.
Plan your own multi-stop-routes from the Netherlands over Belgium to Austria and drive non-stop. In a modern coach, you will experience the everyday life of a coach bus driver. New busses in the form of DLCs are already being planned. Navigate through a complex motorway and road network to bus stations in over 100 cities in Europe and stay in constant contact with the control centre.
In the console version, over 50,000 km of FlixBus‘s European route network have been recreated. The time passes at a scale of about 1:10. As in reality, passengers board the buses at the bus stations via check-in or buy a new ticket from the driver.
The interior and exterior of the busses are modeled in great detail and the original passenger announcements provide a realistic atmosphere. Construction sites, traffic jams and accidents will challenge you to keep up with the tight schedule.

Luckily they fixed how the night looks like, and they probably did something with force feedback, but I'm not 100 per cent sure about that one. I haven't noticed any new bugs, but there are some little changes to the menu interface. But anyways, I'm waiting for that Poland DLC on consoles. Hopefully it'll come soon.
P.S. Those flying trucks were there before this patch

What Iv noticed the AL needs to be improved. Especially in France at the tolls as they just don’t move.
Thanks for covering this. A great update for Fernbus that fixes the day into night issue where it was way too bright at night, and too dark in the morning too, but solved. Free play keeps the faster clock, but the other modes are real time now it seems. Graphics look much better and more stable IMO. Great update. No complaints.
@mrwhatta100 Thanks. It's possible others are experiencing different glitches, but my gameplay has been mostly glitch free and a big improvement overall. I really like the game so that helps too. Thanks.
Hi tin tin, sorry I missed your live video. So I will check it out, I have just reloaded fernbus back on my ps5 after a break of 2 months from it. I can't get the settings correct on the driving side of things. I like how yours is set up. ❤

The trucks with trailer's are the only assets that spawn in from the sky. This could be an Unreal Engine issue as extreme pop is prevelant across all games developed using an outdated version of Unreal Engine. The shadows continue to be a problem with their flickering, weird texturing and displacement on assets such as vehicles and building's This again could be because the game is running on an outdated version of Unreal Engine as this was evident before the patch and then after the patch but as before the player could alter graphics setting's to make the shadows softer and less pronounced, after patch this is no longer possible. The Audio mix is still the same, reporting no change as the indicator noise is still too loud and is missing a slider to alter the sound. Presumebly this was set to warning signals within advanced sound settings but the slider appears to be non functioning and the engine running noise is still rather quiet even if its slider is set to max.
Even with this patch, the question still remains: Why are console player's still playing on an outdated version of Fernbus compared to PC? When Fernbus PS5 launched, the majority of advanced settings were missing like TML Studios just launched an earlier build and not the later patched build mirroring the PC version.

What are the Two greyed out areas on the bus selection page I can't figure out what it is do you know?

0:25 the selection of busses but two of them are greyed out labeled BB and MB 👍
Ah yes, it’s just that I don’t own those. There is a filter you can press top right which will then only show the ones you own, here I don’t think that’s selected for me

@@TinTin_57 but you have played with it? when i played with my tr300 the force feedback is absurd, i have to make a tremenduous force to turn the wheel.

have the W906 Mini bus, As soon as you Put the updates on, they take that Bus away, That's the
Physical Disk PS5 version mind, Don't know about the PC version, I hope they give it Back at some
point cause It's a great little bus to drive, Notice they let you keep the BB40, Piece of CRAP, Well

all day LOL. Why they've Taken the Graphic Settings off us Is beyond me, All Games

In this last patch in console they removed the quality sliders that were there before

We don’t pay 20 quid for a loco pack in TSW 4. Still don’t quite trust this game and the developer. The base game is still nice though.
Yeah as I said there, maybe if buses were your thing then £20 would be reasonable. Not to me though, seems at least £10 too expensive

I heard your commend the trophies are fixed, you just bright my day, :) and dont understand why a game with 51 trophies doesnt have a platinum.
Yeah and they are def fixed. I had 4 or 5 pop pretty much right away that they already owed me
