Points about Insurance claim:
1. If you have bumper to bumper cover, you need to pay only the processing charge. Cost of all parts including labour is covered by Insurance company.
2. If cost of some part is not approved by the surveyor, speak to them once politely and explain the situation of accident. Chances are they would approve it as well.
3. Avail Road side Assistance service while taking Insurance as the cost of it is very less. It helps you in difficult situations when you are stranded during accident or vehicle breakdown.
4. Compare the repair value with the next year NCB. You'll get an idea if claim has to be done.
5. You can ask for the replaced parts from service center. If some of them can be repaired/reused, then you can take them.
6. Lastly, there is no compulsion that you need to take insurance from showroom itself. Wherever it's taken, the insurance company will respect the claim as long as it's genuine. Don't worry 👍
