- The days are getting warmer and the water is getting colder, after a long winter we are finally starting to see some sunshine but the snow melt is making for extremely cold water. The next few weeks are going to start picking up and we already cant wait to share our days on the stream with you. I know you guys fish a Syndicate 10' 2wt but did I see a Moonshine? I'm looking at the new moonshine epiphany or Vesper 10'6 3wt and was curious of your opinions? That extra guide eye on the butt section is a major plus for euro nymphing. Take care guys Steve at Black Fly
Hey Steve! I can honestly say I have never fished a moonshine but I have heard good things and I’ve held one or two of them and they feel nice, we fell in love with the syndicates and haven’t had much reason to try anything else. I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to try one though!

Actually just has a spatula handle taped to the net handle and slides it over the belt, and wanted to try out the OPST line, it’s pretty sweet stuff!

Don't know how you guys do it. I gotta have at least 60 air temp or fingers get cold. Sometimes hard to tie knots or flies on. At least teout may be hungry..

@@alleghenynative I love it! I started using that hot pink OPST last fall when the water was low and I was using small nymphs. Prior to this the mass of my nymphing line was creating counter balance and pulling light nymphs I was fishing out of the water. Mono was a perfect solution to that problem. Love your videos!

Hey Scott, yeah I’m running the OPST Lazar line I got off livelylegz.com and I’m loving everything about it right now. I’m using the 30lb and it casts great and you can feel every little detail through the line wether it’s the bottom or a soft take! Definitely worth a shot in my opinion
