I'm going to spend 18 hours with them next week. I booked one year in advance and the fare was very low (Arround 1.000 Euros from Germany to Japan). But if you book too late the prices explode

❤Emirates Service I travel with them where ever I go.
Very well done and informative. One concern I have from my experience: 10 seats across in economy (vs 9 across which used to be the norm) seems very narrow no matter how nice the seats are. I've flown 9 across for 10 hours (LAX - LHR) and narrower than that is concerning. Especially from the US to a place like Dubai which is going to be a 12-16 hour flight (depending on direction and origin city in US). Other than that, very interesting look at the flight, thanks.
I totally understand your concern. I flew in the A380 in economy as well, and it was considerably more space in the seat. If you are unlucky you could end up with a bigger person next to you and then it can be shoulder/upper arm “coziness” 😅😂

Flying with Emirates again next month from LGW -KUL, and I’m 4”11, so have no issues with legroom 😂. EK however, can improve on snacks and breakfast though. They really are a let down in this area.
and the central location of dubai makes it extremely convenient for passengers from USA to India, which there are a lot of Indian immigrants in the u.s.

Been flying with Emirates since 2016.
777 does feel cramped at times but other than that no major complaints - I’ve even been given a few complimentary upgrades to Business Class too.
The newer A380 models are comfortable that their economy class can almost be classified as premium due to the excellent leg room.
I’ve tried Premium Eco once back in 2022 just after it was officially launched, it felt like business minus the fully reclining seats and complimentary alcohol.
I totally agree, the A380 is more comfortable. But the service onboard economy is among one of the best out there in eco. Regardless off aircraft type in my opinion

In 2018 there were a few grumpy attendants on a packed Dubai to Manila flight - but we’re all humans at the end of the day. Dubai to Manila at 3am can be tough on the human body 😀
How u can get a complimentary? Free? I fly to London to Manila for my first time
@@david-fw4bp Hi David, I was lucky enough to get a complimentary upgrade to business back in Feb 2023 when I was an Emirates silver member - they upgraded me to business for my flights from Manila to London last minute.
When I was a blue member I never received complimentary upgrades, however if there are any business class seats available they may send you an email offer if you’d like to upgrade for a fee (usually £400). Hope this helps !?

Very informative video! I´m flying Emirates Economy 3 days from now for the first time! From Copenhagen to Dubai. Not wanting to get a cramped middle seat between two other passengers I opted to book and pay for my selected window seat online . ...but then I just heard that if you book within 48 hours of departure select a seat is free!!! Less seats to choose from sure, but still many seats left when I booked today! Didn´t find it mentioned anywhere on their website, otherwise I could have waited until tomorrow and got a selected seat for free! 😒

@@AEF6P2 Maybe you are a member of Emirates or frequent flyer they will give you that option from the beginning? But for me it was the first time, and not until 48 hours before liftoff did I get an e-mail saying I could now book seat for free! I just did it on my way home, and booked aisle seats instead of window seats!

It's my first time flying alone, the first flight will be 6 hours long and then the second one is 9 hours and the last flight is like 2 hours, would you say aisle seat is better? Also I'm not that kind of person who goes to the toilet every 30 minutes, I can easily hold it in for like 6+ hours

I usually do it, and have never been stopped. According to emirates website you can bring 7kg (15lb) of carry on with the dimensions 55 by 38 by 22 cm (22 by 15 by 8 inches).

everything looks perfect but something is bothering me. the seats are too close to each other. i cant imagine what would happen if someone was kicking my seat the entire flight
I can understand that! I didn’t have any problem with the seat pitch, but if you’re over 1,95m then i think it will be a problem. One thing that I noticed was that the 777 configuration is smaller both in legroom and width of the seats. The A380 have much better legroom and seat width in economy.
Recently flew economy 777 Cape Town to Dubai seating cramped overall feeling squashed.

Yes, I think your legs will fit, but it can be a little tight. However, Emirates has one of the best legroom options in economy that I have traveled with. On the A380, there is even more legroom.
