I agree! She does this a lot especially with her newer videos. She’s very adament on showing that not even the most experienced bakers are perfect. And teaches newer bakers to just keep trying and not be discouraged. She’s very inspirational
I love how nonchalantly and easily Ann tempers the chocolate. Claire Saffitz could take a lesson from this.

@@rathmiron Yeah, but I personally queried whether or not she already knew about it, and chose other methods for "gourmet" reasons? It strikes me it's possible this is a "cheat" method in the eyes of BA type pastry chefs? Who knows?
Also, I think the next gourmet makes is gonna be pop tarts, but surely there'll be more chocolate later.
@@shestewa6581 if i'm not mistaken, in one of Ann's video, tempering chocolate using freeze dried cocoa butter like this, there will be white dots on the chocolate from that extra cocoa butter. that's why she doesn't use it often. Ann usually melts the chocolate using microwave and stir it every 30 seconds until it melts.

I live in America and I've only ever had Aero bars

Where we can buy stuff like Dr pepper.. wish is amazing because in Australia we could buy it like a normal can of coke but they stopped years ago..
Expect things to be expensive though because it's imported :))
@@Ruzovy_ In italy we don't have this. generally only big supermarkets sell "imported goods" but we don't have an "imported goods section", usually imported things are with regular things (?), for example you can find grape fanta in the drink isle or strawberry oreos in the cookie isle

Aero and Flake was always my favourite chocolate as a kid, my mum wouldn't let me buy them because they had less chocolate in them than solid bars and therefore weren't good value 🤣
that is the exact same reason i dont buy them. its a rip off! but now we know how to make it :)
Ah, the beauty of being an adult. The price of solid versus Aero chocolate is the same so it doesn't matter which you buy - it's the pleasure, the enjoyment, that counts.

Ann, I think youve just broke physics... placing dense liquids into vacuum chambers is a common technique to degass things like liquid rubber for mold casting... how did you manage to create bubbles instead of removing them? lol... :)
hmmmm, good question. I know that if you put something under extremely high pressure then it will remove the gas. I think these little food containers aren't strong enough to take it to the next level :)

I've tried a few different Aero bars that I've been able to get my hands on in the states, & the mint is by far my favorite! This video is so fun to watch. You can really do a lot with chocolate.

Takeaways in uk you order milkshake and they add any chocolate bar usually blended in with ice-cream when they make the milkshake and use crushed chocolate bar or biscuit 😋
