Thanks for the tips! It was helpful to know that you could select promotions. I had over 140K emails in there. I deleted all of them and emptied the trash...it's still emptying them 🙄

@Tasia My google storage looks different. I'm part of a company workspace and I'm trying to clear up space any advice?
What are price ranges when you buy more storage from Google?
They actually have a discount going on right now. Typically, it's 1.99/mo for 10GB of storage, but that's now .49/month for 3 months! 200GB is $2.99/mo, but right now you can get .75/mo for first 3 months! 2TB plans are also on sale. Click on 'get more storage' to see that info.

I’ve got a ton of files under the “home” tab in my google drive and I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get rid of them, they’re old work schedules I used to get via email and google drive would open it and they’re all still there. Can I even delete these files?
This is a good video BUT my storage hasn’t been reduced at all. I have deleted gobs of emails, photos and videos. And I empty trash every time. It’s so frustrating. Any suggestions?

Why does Gmail shows 1.5 GB, Photos 5GB and Drive show 7GB used... but when i go and select ever file i have in DRIVE it totals only 600MB. deleted everything and it still shows 7GB even after logging on and back iin

Cheeky hack - I had an original Google Pixel which gave you lifetime unlimited free full-resolution picture and video storage. Even the Pixel 4 still has high res unlimited free storage. When I moved to a Pixel 7, it turned off auto backup and "Nearby Share" to my old Pixel that is just connected to Wifi. It backs up to Google Photo and doesn't take up storage. When that breaks I'm going to look on ebay for a replacement and keep going!

@@iainamurray I have a pixel 6a right now and it doesn't offer unlimited storage. I didn't understand back up and nearby share but. Can you explain the process?
@@vikas6861 Google Pixel, Pixel 2 and I think Pixel 3 all offer Unlimited full resolution storage for life. Pixel 4 and 5 I think offer free high quality unlimited for life. If you have 6 or later, then you can buy a Pixel 1-5 and then when you take your photos on your 6a, don't back up the photos automatically, you can Nearby Share them to the Pixel 1-5, which will back them up to your account and it won't take up any storage.
This video does not show how to deleted files on google storage quickly. It takes so long to delete 32 files at a time. GGGRRR google storage sux
