Hi, I'm a hobbyist metal caster. What Mike's talking about with peeing in the forge is called a steam explosion. The pee WOULD evaporate. Instantly. The resulting steam would have a much larger volume than the pee, and the force of its expansion would violently displace a whole bunch of globs of molten metal ALL over the place. Yeah, you'd either die or be SERIOUSLY injured.
Thankfully I've not had it happen to me, but this is why you ALWAYS want to make sure your stock metal is completely dry before you try melting it.
Peeing on top of molten metal wouldn't do much. It's when the liquid is trapped under the metal is when a steam explosion occurs.
i was just thinking the piss steam would fill the warehouse and ruin everyones nice time, im not sure which scenario is more horrifying

Are you really surprised that vertibird chaingun barely phased a raider? It's Fallout 4: The chainguns are just dark grey NERF guns, and anything past the very start of the game can laugh it off.

@@TimothyDunham-wu4wk If memory serves, it's a matter of "You'll only ever manage so much damage out of this glorified toy" VS "Everything gets increasingly ridiculous amounts of health". You can't even get ammo in bulk for it until late/later-game, and by then, it's simply outperformed by anything else.
To it's credit: It's a shit chaingun, but an insane chainsaw. Just put on the shredder mod, and nothing but mirelurks are a real threat.
@@Umbra_Ursus I always put the shredder 😅 and stockpile 5mm with 2 points in the Scrounging perk (because after 2 the ammo changes 🤷♂️

@@TheDapperTapperthere’s more to that line - to standards and certifications set by the military. Tolerances and tests have to be reached and passed. It’s not always foolproof- look at the littorals- but look at stuff like subsafe

One is the most advanced suit to go into full production the other is welded together by raiders.

I did really enjoy doing this notion to collect weapons from The Enclave from the forge the Raider group. I do love that fire incinerator from like the other Fallout games and also going to get the Hellfire armor and the X2 armor from the third game
8:35 There’s a mod that lets you do that (kinda) by making gunners neutral, being able to do contracts for em and also being able to hire some as companions (or something like that).
Was gonna say I forgot the name of the mod but it’s ”Gunners Overhaul - Initially Friendly Gunners” (which should be the first result if you google ”fallout 4 friendly gunners mod”).

Used to work at an iron foundry. Depending on ammount, Mikes not too far off from what would happen. The ladle (the thing carrying molten iron) would also shoot off like a rocket.
Thankfully only witnessed in demonstrations for safety meetings.
As for the body, i doubt that would help the metal be any stronger. It would help with the question of what to do with the body though.

In defense of the power armor vs fire inconsistency, Paladin Dmase was wearing a full suit of genuine T60 armor, while the one they give you for the quest is a jury-rigged proxy at best.

Just for the sake of saying it: The Nuka Cola Clear Formula and bottle was from the Wasteland Imports mod. There's one other formula it spawns in but I can't remember it's name or location, sadly.
To that Creation Club Tesla Cannon: that thing is cursed. Nope; seriously. In order to do that whole downloading of the pip-boy data thing, the mod author put an invisible rad field around your character (it was necessary to do to keep this from conflicting with another perk) that the rest of the game pretty much ignores, but characters like The Mechanist, Harvey from Nuka World, and Virgil (the Institute scientist living in the Glowing Sea you get the teleporter plans from in the main story) will aggro just by getting close to them and there's no "put your weapon away and it'll be OK" in play; you HAVE to kill them at that point. :/

There's been a few attempts on the Nexus to mod that away; some people say they work, my game didn't like ANY of the fixes...had to find out what perk the content provides and remove it with console commands. This is assuming that they didn't fix the content and just give it to you for free now with the next-gen update. I'd be interested to know if they fixed this or not, if anyone knows...

Yeah, the syringer weapon that shoots people with a bloatfly larvea makes them eventually explode into a bloatfly. It's amusing but it just takes too long.
just in Theorie if you put an human into an forge and i gave a lot of carbon then you would not have steel anymore it would turn into pig iron

😂😅 if you use the syringer with bloat fly ammo, it spawns a bloat fly out of the body of the target 😅😊 I do it for legendary items (having settings at Very Hard increases the odds)

Normally I agree with you, but holy crap are you wrong on this one. Water in molten metal is TERRIFYING.
To be fair Paladin Danse did have an actual set of power armor not just random sheets of scrap metal welded onto a power armor frame like Raider power armor. But that reasoning falls apart when you realize if you go there with regular power armor, it still does the same thing.

To be fair, Paladin Danse's armor was well maintained US military issue power armor. While I have very little faith in US military procurement, I do have more faith in their quality standards than some random raider slapping chunks of scrap iron onto a frame. That being said, this game probably doesn't distinguish between the two
