Whizz Kids - Occupational Hazard

The, 'Whizz Kids' were a New Zealand, Post-Punk/New Wave band featuring, Andrew McLennan, Mark Bell, Tim Mahon, and Ian Gilroy, previously playing together in, 'The Plague'. They released a 7" single called "Occupational Hazard" on Ripper Records in 1980, with the b-side being "Reena" by The Spelling Mistakes. Tim Mahon went on to play in, Blam Blam Blam... Mark Bell also went onto play with, 'The Blams', as well as, Big Sideways, Coconut Rough, Pop Mechanix, and Zolo And The Bantams. Andrew McLennan [aka Andrew Snoid] went on to perform lead vocals for, The Swingers, Pop Mechanix, and Coconut Rough.
