This is a good way to show that it doesn't matter if you get broken characters or not, if you can just build your characters correctly they can and will serve you well in the long run.
the problem is resource and time u spent only to get same result as s5 (even still below standart s5 result) doesnt worth, with recommended 5 star u just give it small effort to get best effective things, save ur worthy resource for other things

@@seliamila1005well zhongli used to be bad(pretty sure Noelle better than him during that time) before getting buff but now he is good
sadly he's comparing the shields on another character, shields last longer when the character has more DEF, the entire reason why noelle's shield is really good is because it's meant to protect her.
In my opinion noelle is better since when the active characters hp is below 50% noelle gives the active character a special sheild that lasts for 20 seconds that scales on 400% of noelles defense

It is also worth mentioning shield durability is also affected by the active character's defense
Meaning the same shield can endure less or more damage depending on the active character

@@Lucasthecat_ tbh thats not really a bad idea, but you will lose a sh ton of defense without the whitebind, making the shield kinda weak

@@contentinsert2831 but if we are playing noelle off field then it wouldn't matter right? I've seen a few people say the shield scales off your ACTIVE characters defence, not noelles defence. I'm not 100% sure about this however
@@shortkid6160 it scales off of Noelle's defense, if shields were to be base on the acitive characters defense then the shield would be as fragile as a paper
Noelle sheild also break after five hits but you didn't count and showed 4 only
can you do a Comparison but put noelle shield on herself because it scales out of DEF which is better on her

@@nuzzy123 the dmg on the shield is still calculated with the character's DEF, so if she takes less dmg, then the shield takes less dmg.

Noelles's emergency shield comes in clutch
this is in a vacumm instead of in conjunction of other characters like gorou and hydro resonance
Definitely noelle has the best 4* shield, a shame it has so much cooldown being 50% uptime (i think it last for 15 seconds and the skill has 30 seconds cooldown), unlike layla for example who has 100% uptime (15sec cooldown and 15sec duration), zhongli i don't know, i don't have him
My noelle has 3k defense and I run sacrificial sword. I love her, I can withstand just about anything thrown at me, the only problem I have is how short the shield last. Sometimes I forget to refresh shield and I take damage...

Another factor, if you use Noelle to tank hits you get far more value as def lowers received damage even more
Noelle is a tough competitor when it comes to shielding
Hell nah in this video noelle has constellations plus lvl 90 weapon zhongli doesn't even have 4pc tenacity and lvl 75 weapon only plus lvl 9 talent that's an unfair competition over there

@@ALBSTREWMUSICNoelle also doesn't have 2pc Retracing Boldie which gives Shield Strength and even if you build a 60k HP Zhongli, Noelle would still compare to his shield.
As for constellations, Noelle is easy to pull for being a 4 star and her constellation can even be bought from shop. But for Zhongli, I would love to see you emptying your wallet or throwing months of primogems savings for getting constellations of an off field shielding character 🙂
@@ALBSTREWMUSICAlso, only her first 3 constellations help in shielding if you want to use her off field, so just getting C3 of her would suffice which would be really easy because you get her guaranteed in Novice wishes and C1 you can get from Paimon's bargains in shop and C2,C3 from wishing on a banner featuring her. Also, she gets more reruns being a 4 star compared to Zhongli

There is something wrong with this video because my lv80 talent lv9 with 2.8 k def Noelle can block all missiles from 4 ruin gurds but it can't how 🤔
1:56 What even happened there, the shield already broke, I saw it break and then 1 second later, it's back up.
That because when the Hp is low noelle will automatically put the shield back

hello can you do one day the comparison between noelle with artifact +30%def and shield strenght+35% vs zonghli with 50k hp? Because i wan't to know if zonghli is really the best shield or if noelle's shield can be at the same level
noelle shield is almost as good i have her at lvl 90 crowned the only problem is the uptime..
In my opinion the reason why zhongli sheild is better is because it lasts longer and can have 100% uptime

No her shield doesn't come close to being as good as zhongli's especially in this particular video where noelle has lvl 12 talent and zhongli with 9 further more the weapon noelle has is also 90 and zhongli's 75. And not even a proper artifact set has been used. My 40K zhongli shield can tank lvl 98 enemies so this video is shit
