I started in 2006 and live seen the blood bath. I made no loss as I did not work in fno and never used the margin. After 2008 I quit stock market and started again in 2020. The 2008 experience is still live in my mind. It save me every day.

One concern, you didn't mention anywhere so far about the development in US market in 2008, because if we look at Today's US market, it certainly resembles 2008, so there may be a possibility of crash in near future.

Informative video.At the time of market fall in March, to Two conditions are same to 2008, one is market PE and second is India VIX reached at about 72 after some time of fall started.
Also in 2008 FIIs were dominant as I listened but now DIIs are seems dominant.
