But performance 100% is an important part of being not only the president, but also the commander in chief of the United States. When there are diplomatic talk with foreign leader, performance matters. When there are disagreements between the legislature and the executive, performance matters. When there are serious doubts in the administrations leadership, performance matters. Joe did not do a very good job last night with his performance, and while that doesnt mean that he should immediately give up, lets not act like performance isnt important for a president of the United States of America
The debate is about performative appearance, not performative competence. As the army taught me, appearance is the more important thing, we had the best looking trucks on the side of the road.

Joe has actively voted against the popular opinion of his constituents for over 40yrs. That's the opposite of democracy you know.
