- In this video we take the information we've gathered over the past few videos to start solving the mystery of the fluorescent lamp. We see why the voltages were behaving as they were in the original video. Hint: It's to do with resistive and inductive loads, lagging circuits and things being out of phase.

Wonderful explanation of KCL Kirchhoff's current law. Thank you.
Amazing job! Thank you for these videosthey make theory much more understanable.
Thanks for the comment, stay tuned for more!
Thank you.
You're welcome Ted, stay tuned for more!
Super interesting. My electrical knowledge is being turbo charged thanks to your content!
Thanks for the feedback, stay tuned for more!
Just wanted to thank you! I am behind on works in college and I am struggling to understand my lecturer. It is a big help. Very clear material explanation and wonderful layout. Thank you one more time.
this way of teaching is truly amazing and i am glad i found this channel.
I’ve studied every video of this series but out of all videos I am clueless in this video
From what I understand, the voltage would be out of phase after the coil and that's why you turn the phasor diagram of the coil, right? Actually I think that the voltage would still be 230 in total, what happens is that the measuring device makes that vector sum but I do not understand why. It would make more sense to me to measure 230 in both the coil and the resistor considering that it is the same voltage but out of phase. Maybe I'm wrong, and I have no idea what I'm talking about.
Amazing thanks.
Who else checked the battery in their fire alarm? 😅
