Aloha! I have a 1995 SL500 R129 with some noise coming only when shifting. Wondering if your differential did some **kink-kink** noises?? Or if anyone knows this noise and know what it is?? I was thinking it was that nut you have there where the driveshaft and flex disc connect(the tensioner) has come lose? Does this sound possible??? All help appreciated!! Mahalo nui loa!!
If you allow me a 1986 model car and the car there is no towing in the heights and find the numbers of Quarin or DeFransi a lot behind me and I do not know its original number with the Arabic flag Automatic Wangat2000

You need to use gear oil. Transmisssion fluid will be too thin.
How did it work out? The differential in my w115 300d has lost preload and howls terribly off power. I'm going to be doing the exact same job.
1990 300 CE V8 210mm 3.27 gear. Any chance it will fit into another car with a 210mm differential. It’s a 2006 Chrysler 300c please comment. Thanks

Nope but you can find aftermarket kits but not complete only the friction rings.

enough until you reach the right drag in nm, increase torque in small increments. in some forums they say that up to 180nm
