That is so awesome. I've been patiently waiting for years to see a video(s) showing a performance engine swap and/or performance engine mods on a Fuso/Isuzu 4x4 cabover. Love it !!! What a great rig all in all. The removable camper box is brilliant. Please keep your videos coming. Cheers

I like small rigs. I don't even like full sized trucks, but I love this thing. Great video, awesome truck! At that size, I would personally install a shower/bathroom, à la RV style.
Here in the US our Isuzus come with the 300hp 6.6l LS mated to a 6L90 from the factory. Too bad we can't get the most important part (4WD) to deliver that power to the ground.
he is right about the power of the original motor in them. therefore on the highway but suck big time on any kind of incline. but once you get used to driving the truck in manual mode you can keep it in power range a little better but you ate the guy everybody behind you is honking at. enjoyed the video. thanks
Great vid Ronny and Jo 👍 Drove a single cab one of these working Underground for years and yes the diesels don't have a lot of power but a great work horse. Awesome build Jo, love it mate. Cheers 👍
G'day Ronny, That is a seriously great sounding Truck with that Supercharged LS & Auto, the camper is setup well for extended travel & just staying out there for as long as your beer hold's up. Also it's really great that you have had a couple of 4X4 Trucks on the channel now, because very few Aussie 4X4 channels show them, always preferring to stay with the little fella's. I think I will look into a setup like he has fitted with the lifting ram's it's a good idea & would be a bonus for Me & our Truck, We are still fitting our's out & hope to be finished early next year. Our truck is a HINO GT1J 4X4 & considerably larger than the Canter, I think Joe said the Canter weigh's in at 4 Ton unladen & 6 Ton loaded our Truck weigh's 9 Ton unladen & 14 Ton loaded, basically it's just the next size up in Trucks. Anyway Ronny thank's very much for adding 4X4 Truck's to the channel because we obviously pick up great ideas & suggestions just the same as every other 4 Wheeler. Safe Travel's Mate, Steve.
Amazing set up mate, I've herd about this truck and the engine in it ,i have the older 2007 dual cab and been thinking of a engine swap ,just been a little worried about the computers to run it up here in FNQ in the wet and where we go. Hats off to you mate you done good, i know there's been alot of work gone into it to get it to where it is now.👍

Hi cool Canter! For the hydraulic jacks do you know what bore and stroke was used on the cylinders? My FG is a old landscape truck with a dump box, so I'll be scrapping the box, but I can use the hydraulic pump and sump. I think this is brilliant, when my build is done I'll be in my mid-sixties and I've had back issues, so although I'm still adventurous, I'd rather not be slugging it when (not if) I get stuck. I already have 17,500lb rope winches for front and rear in my parts pile.
Can someone tell me where the other 2 roof mounted solar panels are? He said it had 4 panels totalling 800 watt, but the video I can only count 2. Unless the other 2 are portable?
Sick truck, well done only neg is fuel range, but that could be easily increased, the wallet probably wouldn’t enjoy the fuel up for a long trip across the Canning Stock for instance, but would love to see this do the CS or Kimberley! really well done and impressive without being a glamping build, props to the dude. Canter was a very good truck stock as a truck and as a camper, it was popular esp in the 90s and 2000s for its ride loaded and unloaded stock, unlike Isuzu’s and others, which I have driven many, the Canter was exceptional in ride quality and reliability, the fact that the rear is still stock just highlights what a great rear it had, 14 years only front modified! Fantastic to see this build and done like this, some great innovations and ideas, def helps having the right friends to help too, something that is relatable in the car world of modding, it’s common and if ya don’t ya rarely see something like this without them, props, she was amazing to see on the Dunes in the intro, impressive and sounds freaking great too, one of the most enjoyable modified’s I have seen, cheers, “now get her into the outback” with “ Ronnie & Torbs on a tag along, that would be amazing🤙

And registered as a "tractor" for tax reasons. Also in alot of farms, towing trailers is the most common job with a tractor.
This man must have deep pockets for the fuel bill required to power a 6.2l Supercharged v8 in a truck. Similar diesel TDI's get significantly more mileage. TBH I prefer diesels over petrols in a truck since your tires are much large, traction isn't generally the issue its more about torque which TDI's clearly win.

When the vid ended and you popped up at end to say this the audio was crazy loud. Scared the crap out of me. Thankfully I was on the toilet! 😂
