      That's where MP3 players came in. And that's exactly what happened.
      What's weird is that mp3 players were around back then. This toy filled no place in the market. It's just a novelty.

    I mean i guess it's good for pop music, but only hearing 1 minutes of a Pink Floyd song Lo Fi and somehow believing replaying it 2 more times is somehow as good as hearing Comfortably Numb the whole way through is kind of delusional. And I don't think this would be good for Jazz or Classical either. Which minute of Bob Dylan's Hurricane out of the 8 minutes, which tells the story of an actual person, do you include? All these issues make it not timeless.
