Both Starcraft and Warcraft II demos contained exclusive campaign missions that you couldn't find in the retail versions of the games.
In this demo campaign you play as General Duke's security forces Alpha Squadron. It's pretty cool to play as the biggest enemy of the full version, imagine if Wings of Liberty starter edition let you play as the Terran Dominion :)

They should create a prequel game and have the campaign be the Terran Confederacy.

GOD this video reminds me of StarCraft's atmosphere... Why cant we replicate that? Jeez, SC2 is good and all(arguably), but SC1 is just amazing in its atmosphere alone.

As good as I remember, WarCraft III demo version also had some levels which aren't available in the retail game (they've been brought back in TFT as a custom campaing example). Great video!

I get it’s name is the confederacy but why does it have the American confederate flag what is this take place in an alternate history were they one

They were criminals sent from Earth to remote sector to basically... die. Instead they survived and built a "confederacy". Eventually the UED (basically United States of Earth) sent fleets say "Hey there can only be one America". Though at that point the confederacy has gone and an "Empire" was built there by Mengsk (not Musk).

Creative license, and the flag wasn't as controversial back then.
Alternate history wise though, I still think they lost in this timeline but adopted that flag on a purely symbolic basis. Being that the original settlers were outlaws they wanted a flag that symbolized defiance
