  • The Honest Bunch is an audio-visual podcast that focuses on discussing real millennial and Gen Z issues with no holds barred.
There are 4 main personalities on the show - Nedu, Husband Material, Deity Cole, and Naomi. The cast members bring their unique individual personalities and wit to the show. Occasionally, a guest is brought on to share opinions on topics tailored to their experiences, interests, or personalities.
At Honest Bunch, we are telling original Nigerian realities from the lens of the youth.
The show is stupendously funny, inconceivably revealing, somewhat shocking, and yet unequivocally informative.

Dear Otunba D1, I hope you read this. Please, you need to make a documentary.
There's a rich and robust story there to tell about the evolution of Afrobeat, from past to present. One that predates your coming to the scene and takes us on the journey to this day.
Of course, it would be a huge and painstaking project but I can't think of any other persons with the clout, insider knowledge, network and capacity to pull it off.
Now, that we have the world's attention, is the best time. I'm thinking Netflix for example, for it's wide reach, and with tens or hundreds of subtitles available.
It's a story this generation and ones to come need to hear and the world with it.
    All the best, sir. 🙏🏿

I really don't like commenting online but this podcast session is something I find unique, classy, and highly valuable. This is not just for the industry or the players therein, the values and insights are such that sit a question in every individual. Questions such as, what are you doing now that you can be proud of at a later time when you aren't occupying the stage anymore? How are you doing what it is you're doing? And to what end is what you are doing first to yourself and second to the human community that has provided you with everything you now have? God blessed you guys for this podcast, I am so grateful.

Top ten countdown of the best music in Nigeria then. Kenny & D1 would play from 10 to number 2 and listeners were asked to predict the number 1 song and submit it at raypower fm station. The number 1 song would be announced the next day/week and if you were lucky the name you picked was announced, you would win a price. I used to trek then from Alakuko to Ilapo village in Alagbodo to submit then.

What Mr D1 said about hawking CD's in America to boost Afrobeats is true. I remember in 1995 we went on excursion to AIT & Ray power. We were taken to a studio that had over 10,000 cd's shelved. The guy and the radio studio asked to to mention any song and he will play it. They all had it in album cd's back thenThey had a program then, prime time Jamz with Jumobi Adegbesan... Sir the last time I saw you was at the fidelity ATM stand in 2012 closed to mate Hotels. Alagbado. Your impact has been greatly felt in the music/ media industry today. Thanks for what you do

This session was a smooth & educative one, I enjoyed listening to this podcast especially because y'all didn't talk over each other nor interrupted each other like y'all normally do in majority of your podcasts. Moving forward, I plead with y'all to show the same respect to let each other say what you want to say without anybody interrupting the other, thank you
