- A step-by-step tutorial for putting straps and a kidney pad on an LC-2 ALICE pack frame. These were used on the proton packs in Ghostbusters II. Frames were painted black to match the LC-1 frames used on the proton packs in the first Ghostbusters movie.

Exactly what I was looking for!! Thanks!
Excellent tutorial, thanks from the UK
im just gonna use the hasbro straps for the alice frame temporarily and this helped so much as ive never done this before. thanks so much!!
Well done sir…..not an easy thing to describe and you did a very good job. I have three packs all disassembled and it was flustering me trying to sort it all out
Thanks, glad you found it helpful.
That Video answered a lot of questions for me. THX!
Very straight forward video. Super easy. Thank you so much.
Thanks for posting this!
Thank you , i had loads of trouble with my Alice frame and straps this sorts out the problems!
Great video, thanks
This is exactly what i was looking for. thank you for your knowledge. ^_^
I might be wrong, but I think you go *outward* through the hole with the bottom of the shoulder strap instead of inward. It's not much of a difference and difficult to tell from screenshots, but it's also what the original ALICE frame instructions say.
Also, without your video I wouldn't have thought to check the straps on the LC-2 pack I just got, and indeed the left and right were switched on my pack, so thanks!
I have a couple real LC-2's and they also come with a small clasp strap that connects both shoulder pads on the bottom part near the holes. It's similar to the kidney pad strap that connects it to the frame but it just kind of dangles there.
thanks man i took mine apart to wash it and thought o i got this no big deal....yea no i didnt so your video was very helpful
I located the original LC1 strap setup instructions, they actually tell you to insert the bottom end of the strap through the FROM the INSIDE. It doesn’t make a huge difference, looks a bit better though.
Egon would be proud!!
This guy is like the Bob Ross for Ghostbusters
How do you reassemble just the shoulder straps I’m having a really arc time with that portion. We dissembled everything like nothing attached.?
Thank youuu
Trying to figure out the best way to control for all the 'flappy' slack from the kidney pad's attached waist straps that clip in front. I'm not a big dude (size 32 waist), so there's a lot swingin' when I cinch the strap nice and snug (but not TOO snug). Any suggestions? It's nylon, so I think it can be cut and melted, but if there's a more practical way to control for it where the risk of me ruining it (or burning my place down) is lower, I'm all ears!
That's how the pack frame is supposed to be
@@gooby8953 I think it’s nylon so I’ll probably just melt cut them then fold over and sew.
Cut it off
Good idea on the video, but I am having questions how the kidney pad actually connects properly. In this video, almost everything done with it is hidden by the pad itself. A better camera angle would help a lot. Maybe a camera person. But it is what it is.
I appreciate the feedback. I need to reshoot it. It’s one of my first uploads from about 3 years ago.
This is excellent, thank you! I would also second the comment about the kidney strap being more visible when actually attaching it. I really appreciate you making this-so helpful!
Can you put a Alice pack on a p68 frame ?
I don’t know. I just know what’s accurate to Ghostbusters proton packs.
Bro how bout turn it so we can see what youre doing wtf
Are you a REAL Ghostbuster?
Are you the REAL Kurt Russell?
