    I am simply dumbstruck that a program used so widely and with so many features doesn't offer the ability to export and them import libraries, playlists, presentations, media, etc. reliably such that you might have to jump into the file system to make it happen.... maybe! Churches everywhere use this. I want to create everything at home, export it, and then import it at church. No easy solution yet. Am I missing something? Thanks.

      thats what I'm wanting to do... create at home on iPad with procreate etc and EASILY import ti propresenter at church... ive had problems importing photos even . I dont want to do a bunch of work with something that's going to be glitchy or worse, I cant open or project due to some unknown compatibility issue... I dont think it should be difficult

      Agreed, this is crazy Pro6 had this. Was super easy to export and import.

    With the repository method, in your example you are using the same computer so it's just accessing a local file for export and import. How do you get this to work from one computer to the next?

      @learnpropresenter  Před 2 lety

      I am using the same computer however the method is the same. Export the files from one computer, move the files to the second computer then import them back into propresenter

      I did the first method step by step as I was watching the video, & still can’t access it on the new computer

    Do you happen to know if you create a presentation on a computer running the free version, if it will remove the watermark if you import the presentation to a computer with a license?

    Can you export playlist from PP7 as PP6 files? I have PP6 at church but want to put PP7 on my personal computer.

    OK I have nuked my settings MORE times than not with the way that Pro Presenter has this set up.. So UP means down and Down means up ( I know they think it's going to a cloud server but since you have to MOVE it yourself it makes no sense. THANK you for posting this.

  • @jstump1972

    OK I went through the procedure to export then I went to the other computer and did an import and I don’t see the playlist

      Did you export and import the correct options?

      Recently had that same issue with the Playlist not appearing and ended up being a security issue on the M1 Mac mini. For Mac users open Finder and right click on the top level ProPresenter folder and select get info (it is in documents unless you moved it). Check at the bottom that security for all users is both Read and Write. Do this for both the "main" computer and any other computer you want to sync. Open ProPresenter and go through the sync process again but this time on the "main" computer you are going to also check the "Replace My Files" box (no need to check Replace My Files the next time you sync). Don't forget to check all the options for what you want to sync and you are going UP to the repository. Hope this helps.

    If you used a unique font on one computer, and transfer the presentation to a different computer---THE FONTS DO NOT MOVE--so you have to install the fonts on BOTH computers for your slides to match.

    • @learnpropresenter
      @learnpropresenter  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes that is correct. You need to install it on the computer first then transfer your slides

      @@learnpropresenter Is there an "outline" feature you can use to not have to install the fonts on the other computer? For example I use a Mac at home to compose then transfer to a PC at church. Is there a workaround to this?

    • @learnpropresenter
      @learnpropresenter  Před 2 lety

      No I don't think so. It might default to another font instead. If you want that font you could probably find it online and download it to both computers

      Usually it wouldn’t overwrite your current files it would just add to them unless they’re named the same. You should be able to go into your file explorer on windows and find the pp7 files where propresenter stores your items and see if they’re there

    2:20 - "...sometimes it won't bring down absolutely everything..." - this seems like a crazy software issue. How can this be ok? Also, in this example, he moves files from his desktop into an new folder, then he downloads sync from there. Not good workflow for operators.
