we live in a magic spot for sure. I still like the Red up near Shreve more, but this place is super fun.

Bi Pinnate leaflets. I think it is a Robinia Psuedo Acacia. A locust tree

Spring fishing is a real mental argument for me, I actually fish for food and not for sport so spring is tempting because of the spawn runs but there are also so many fisherman out there disturbing the landscape and one of the things I enjoy about fishing is the solitude. Hard to find these days, especially in springtime on Cagle's Mill Lake in Indiana. Plus the weather, I remember as a kid I would go fishing with my father in the Ozarks on rainy days and the warmest place we could find was in the creek up to our necks, dodging lightning bolts. Currently I tend to wait until the weather is hot enough to discourage other people from trying.
