the first time i played this boss i thoug the hawk in the intro transformed in to the train O.o
The simplicity of chasing a cross between a high-speed train and a fucking battleship is surprisingly so much cooler than any of the other bosses.
Actually the only decent boss fight they made... The stage, the music theme, the battle phases just perfect.... Other next boss just... Meh.

those are so annoying. We just have to take the hits. We can’t even take them down.
@@souldipper u can dodge it, if the condition is right.
- First it need to fire at the nikke u are controlling.
- It need to be firing while ur nikke is also firing.
- When the green bullet come, stop shooting, it will pass ur face and miss. Ofc later barrage will hit the cover.
To be honest, it would be better to destroy the cannon b4 it even fire.
There's a guide out there on how to dodge the green bullets/missiles, still pretty hard to do.
Use a taunter like Noise and alternate between staying behind cover and aiming with her rocket launcher for each 4 missiles.
Or just wait until the right moment and use someone with immortal skill like Blanc.
this is my favorite boss from the game, the concept of shooting a train at top speed on top of another train while the train is shooting all kinds of stuff like a metal slug game is so good

Well, considered some of dead/broken Ruptures being recycled or being used as blueprint for design study and reverse-engineering in story, it's a giant scrap metal

Started playing this game yesterday after putting it off as another h-game and this song and the fight against the train is what won me over completely.
Yeah, I usually dont like these types of games where its limited combat/not open world and the main appeal just being characters. But these boss fights and the stories are actually good.
Really outdid themselves banger ost, fire boss design and just generally remind me of those arcade shooters

Pfft. Invulnerability is for wimps! I do commend you for mentioning Isabel tho. Best girl no cap, if you can tolerate her yandere tendencies. Still, Diesel can turn anything this train throws at you into massage tool. Or Emma/Helm combo if you feel like going full Rambo or just feel super salty.
i always thought that the ex boss stage on one of the earlier chapters was out of place, then I made it to chap 13 where actually get a train vs train mission lol

Imagine this is as some high CGI or anime scene. Pure dope, I think. Like battleships in sea, but on your side - are cute android/bioroid girls with firearms, while on the other - fully automized mecha-train packed with arsenal of all possible armaments. All of this happens during such music theme.
This track makes being utterly defeated sound nice

The best part of this being a boss you can fight daily is getting to the story segment and how its actually kind of challenging despite being at the point where you could farm it easily. Plus your mind already goes to the BGM and the boss fight as soon as they describe it in the dialogue. Also its just a sick design. Absolutely genius for the lead car to have flak cannons as its last resort.
God flak cannons are always so underestimated I mean depending on size and design they can mow down armies or even plow heavy tanks with ease

This thing was a nightmare for me when I first started the game and it appeared on one of the first Ex stages. It took me way later on in the game to finally be able to beat this thing and I realized how much of a bop the ost was

For the first few days or weeks you’ll hear this on loop, then you’ll hear grave digger on loop
The hype I felt from this theme made banging my head against beating this boss worth it. Add in the sound effects from the explosions and gunfire, the chaos and the beat just slap so hard.

I just beat it this morning. Squad level 75 burst formation 2-1-2. 1 rocket launcher, the rest either machine guns or assault rifles. I think the key is to always take out the green missile launchers first since cover is no good against them.
I beat it with the team of Neon, iDoll Ocean, Diesel, Rapi, and Centi. Centi's barrier can help block the green missiles, Ocean can provide small healing, while Neon, having a shotgun, can help shoot down the missiles from the engine and stop the ram attack. Plus Full Burst can tear apart the missile launchers and turrets quickly.
@@joshmccalip6053 the problem for me in that strategy is that I have 0 investment in R nikkes as all the resources went to levelling SR Nikkes for Synchronization. My comp was Rapi, Privati, Anise, Snow White, and Diesel.
