Fr side b having s being fast af and having a good counter for recovery makes him not as easy to kill if your char doesnt have true kill confirms, also the Sephiroth match up is hard cuz Sephiroth has predictable close range options and the other ones are pretty slow

Editing was fire bro. As a Sephiroth main I approve this message. Consider myself entertained. Only disapproval was the t-bag against the lil mac, like come on man. 😂 I've come to understand that in that matchup grab goes a long way, my gameplan is just to bait grab and throw him off stage, once they're offstage just do a mix of flare/megaflare, tilted down side tilt and counter. Works like a charm.

you should use up b reversal when laterally recovering with sephiroph, not much people know that its so OP, there is a video that explains it as well
Yup it's cracked. Reversing your up b sends the opponent towards the blastzone and can kill early. However some times especially with lag you might miss input and reverse side b and SD and that's just tragic 😂

Trust me, when my friend used to main Sephiroth in Smash, I would usually beat him with Pyra and Mythra.
Seph has a hard time keeping up with the pressure of mythra, so I can see why you say that. Against Pyra it's even but by the time you're going to be using Pyra, Seph will be one or two hits away from dying so yeah the matchup is in favour of Aegis. If anyone has seen Cosmos playing Nairo they can relate. 😂
