@@olafsson6431 dunno exactly, one source said it was tied to SOAD relating to how corruption had overtaken the country of Armenia, the hints to sunflower seeds and other lyrics being references to Armenian culture. On a deeper level it just seems to be a general thought provoking song about the depth of thought one being a bystander of circumstance and chance has gone through, watching the world and societal norms breaking down infront of them due to corruption. The song references this feeling of just being caught in the middle of life with no control over the speed or direction of the turbulance in which the times are changing. "Through the eyes of a tire hub." The lyrics "what do you own the world? How do you own dissorder?" Could be reference to the nature of corruption, where egoistic pursuit of trying to gain control or power in life slowly begins to destroy and twist the very thing it is trying to control until it is left in a state of "dissorder." "Somewhere between the sacred silence and sleep" could be referencing the experience of being a witness to the world around you slowly being pushed further and further into the brink of disarray and chaos due to said corruption, edging ever closer to an inevitable death of the life the observer once knew. Somewhere between the world the observer is watching go by and the approaching threat of their way of life being brought to an end, the observer is the unfortunate bystander and witness to the growing chaos being brought forth by the corruption of those seeking to take power over the world that they are at the same time slowly killing like living poison.
The lyrics of this song give me goosebumps there is so much reality and accuracy in the song, and the controlling system that we are born in until the day we die, deep message.
This song is more true now than it was when it first came out! Masterpiece!

This song has a simple, but emotional meaning... It was written when SOAD were in touch deeply with their Armenian side...
'Eating seeds as a pastime activity' - literally, in Armenia, US/Armenian places, you would see people eating sunflower seeds to pass the time, in public places there's often trails leading to groups of Armenians.
'Do you own disorder' - There is alot of disorder in Armenia. There's no jobs, police are corrupt, the goverment are connected to the mob and the Armenian race, to some point, has given up. THis is why the US seems like a heaven compared to Armenia.
'Sacred silence and sleep' - With there being no jobs and the country going to the dogs, having something to pass the time (Like eating sunflower seeds) is ideal. Silence occours because nobodys really, genuinely happy; thus silence is created. People have nothing much better to do than eat sunflower seeds and sleep to pass time.
'Looking at life through the eyes of a tire hub' - This means you don't care how fast you're moving through life, you only see a fraction of what's out in the world.
