    Jan Nikovich (2001) is a Croatian concert pianist and a winner of many prestigious competitions. He is currently studying at multiple locations with renowned professors such as Ruben Dalibaltayan, Natalia Trull and Eliso Virsaladze. He is a multiple winner of national competitions (as a soloist and as a member of chamber ensembles), Papandopulo piano competition,and international piano competitions: Young Virtuosos, Citta di Gorizia, EPTA, Val Tidone, Ars Nova, Sonus op. 2, Zlatko Grgošević, Ferdo Livadic,.. He is also the winner of numerous special awards, and in 2020 he won the Yamaha Scholarship Award 2019/2020. awarded by the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe. In 2015, he was selected to the Junior Academy Eppan where he worked with professor Andrea Bonatta and won the Audience Award at the final concert. The same year he performed next to Lang Lang in Barcelona and at the Allianz Arena in Munich in front of 70 000 people. He is also a scholarship holder at the Internationale Musikakademie in Liechtenstein He often performs all over Europe (Croatia, Italy, Liechtenstein, Germany, Austria, Spain, Poland, Slovenia, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina,... ) both in recitals and with renowned orchestras; most recently with the Croatian National Television Orchestra, Zagreb Soloists, Zagreb Philharmonic, Bacau Philharmonic in Romania and more. Jan is a multiple winner of the Oscar of Knowledge awarded by the Ministry of Science and Education, and in 2020 he received the Rector's Award from the University of Zagreb.

    Jan plays from his soul, and his soul is steeped in poetry! He is a remarkable musician! If music is a manifestation of the human spirit, this young man's spirit is Love! So much so, I always feel blessed when listening to him!
