A word of warning to anyone that wants to fix the heatsyncs rather than the already attached RGB lighting tops, remove the strip of plastic covering the thermal paste VERY CAREFULLY!
When trying to remove the plastic strip on my lovely, just arrived today pair of DOMINATOR® TITANIUM First Edition 64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 DRAM 6000MT/s CL30 AMD EXPO Memory Kit - Grey the whole strips came off! I had to very carefully align these again myself.
The involuntary "ooo" that escaped my mouth when the white lights came on... found my new favorite sticks.
Do love ya videos have for years the fact you stated there was only 1 point difference between the two top Intel CPU’s at the time helped with the choice as did some your other vids the rig benched all top ten scores Firestrike Extreme back then for an Asrock Extreme 9 3930k and two GTX670’s in sli

HEY TOM WHAT ABOUT SWAPPING THE FINNS WITH THE LED BAR BUT USE THE 2 SLOT TOPS WITH THE FINNS THAT WAY YOU CAN HAVE IT YOUR WAY. OR WILL IT NOT WORK. LET ME KNOW ID LIKE A SET OF THOSE IF THEY CAN SWAPP THE FINNS WITH LED HOUSING.

Very happy to see they are offering the non-RBG heatsink, although it's sold as an additional accessory, at a ludicrous price.
yeah if you dont want rgb just go with the vengeance non rgb. I'm looking at a kit of white titianim 4x16 6400 cl32 for 340 bucks which is so dumb esspessicaly because I dont need 64 gigs but I want white rgb ram populating all 4 slots even dumber considering I have a 3070 💀paired with my 7800x3d

Nope, the controller memory is in the memory not in the CPU
Definitely yes, AMD works with either. You might have to manually tune timings, though. Your mobo might have an automatic option for that.

Upgraded to this ram however, xmp is not usable. RMA’d and got new kit but issue still remains. Only way to stop game crashes is to bump down the speed from 6600mhz to 6400mhz.
@jalex9808 I’ve got 13900k and latest bios. Ram is unusable. It can crash very early in gaming sessions or after few good hours. Returned back under warranty, got new ram kit and it’s the same. Finally I decided to return and import gskill 7000mhz sticks. Xmp works like a charm.
Which motherboard are you using ?

hmm, i kinda like the old version better.. I got them because they were not giant light bars... This reminds me of the vengeance rgb ram.
If you don't install any software does it default to white (I actually want it white)? I'm asking as I hate having to install a million different pieces of software to control my various RGB.
Unfortunately, there's always software to install if you want control over your LEDs but you can limit it if you stick to the same manufacturer for all RGB hardware.
With the iCUE software from Corsair I can control my RAM, water cooler and keyboard, but if I put in more RGB hardware from Corsair, I won't need to install new software. It'll just appear in the list with all the rest.
That being said, I'd be much happier if I could easily get non-RGB hardware. It's a pain in the butt and serves no purpose at all.

Hi ! Is the brightness totally uniform, or can we see slight variations in brightness due to LED spacing?
On my Corsair LL120 RGB fans, the brightness is definitely not uniform, It's annoying considering the price of Corsair products

Look, I'm building a PC and it's all white, and I can't figure it out. Look, I'm looking at these memories Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 6000MHz 32GB 2x16GB CL30 AMD EXPO Gray or Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 6600MHz 32GB 2x16GB CL32 XMP White, I say this because some are gray and the other white, some have Expo technology and the other Xmp.
@@makycmv8423 Both types will work fine. You should be able to use your motherboard to achieve the same RAM timings, using an "auto overclock" feature or whatever software ASUS uses. EXPO and XMP are basically just lists of tested timings, the RAM is the same and will work in either system.

I’m considering those exact same parts anyways I’m wondering if the Corsair dominator titanium ram is any good and will match other white components and also wanted to know your thoughts on the motherboard as well. it’s expensive asf but Im struggling finding any other motherboards with the features and white. Besides the nzxt mobo that’s cheaper but still expensive. 😭😭
Been a while but yes these are very nice modules, Corsair have for some time now been in my opinion the top tier of ram. Dominator ram in lots of different flavours these days. I would love to see a return of the actual rainbow titanium edition that was available on the DDR3 platform. Those were a thing of beauty.
They don’t have the fastest DDR5 ram though.
Can't see the point of upgrading from ddr 4 to ddr5 let alone to faster or more elite versions of ddr5

But i think these go way faster than 8000mt
They have a 32gb kit of 7200 MT/s CL 34 and 64gb 6600 MT/s CL 32. I would say in about 3-4 months we will see 7800+ kits.
I just paid $500aud for 64gb but 6400mhz. Already got them, look gorgeous.
I’m running DDR5 8,000 speed GSkill on my Asus Z790 Apex MOBO with a 13900KS. High Speed Ram does make a big difference, so learn how to overclock your Ram. I overclocked a Corsair 6,000 Speed Kit to 7,600Mhz on this same MOBO. Having this Apex Board made for overclocking is making the difference. 😊😊

I got them early with the 2x24gb ram at 7200mhz last week and I got them oc to 8200mhz
They have a 2x24gb at 7600MT/s CL36 now, but you can only get it direct from Corsair. What timings did you use for you OC?

They did 7400 easily with the built in XMP - IMHO the OC would have needed a proper good two slot board

Having worked with computers for over 40 years, there's not much difference whether you use ddr5 6400 or 7200. What does matter is the quality of the stick and so far, I've NEVER had an issue with Corsair ram. It's the only brand I will ever buy again.

@@shaolin95 sure, if you're a pro gamer or developer who the maximum is not enough, but I'll put any average user (even casual gamers) on 2 computers with just a difference of that ram, and they wouldn't know the difference even if you tell them. Even then, more ram will still do a heck of a lot more than chasing the last few Hz.

Very nice Guv, but I'd hate to see the price of these as in true Corsair fashion, it's probably eye watering.
When you buy ram and want the best, you're always going to pay for it, doesn't matter what brand. I can tell you though that Corsair makes ram to last, unlike some other popular brands.

The swapable heatsink thing is just for the first 500 kits sold lol the first edition version which is sold out, so you can't change for the heatsink for every kits now.
They sell em as accessory kit now. $50. Heatsink + white/black/grey

🙂👍🏻thanks for the video 🤔 it looks like I'm alone in thinking that the new Corsair Dominator Titanium look absolutely ugly compared to Dominator Platinum DDR 4 modules🤮 And somehow they look cheap with the bare metal heatspreader🤷 I assume that these modules are intended as top end and they really don't look like it from a purely visual perspective😉

Dude.... now they release these things? Where were these 2.5 months ago when I built my new pc...
I bought Corsair Dom plat 7200 - my dream ram brand since my very first computer, Dom plats... but I didn't really like that they had this square pixels rgb look, it was at odds with so many line based or whatever rgb. But the overall design was miles more refined and aesthetic and sophisticated than others, so it was still worse.
These... these would have been perfect.
corsair is overpriced.. i liked corsair in 2010 and i had psu 850watts from them and memory kits, they had normal price after years in 2023.. everything to expensive..
SORRY JUST SEEN AT 8 MIN AND ABIT YOU CANT SWAP THEM BUT IF YOU KNOW SOMONE WITH A CNC ITS POSSIBLE. WHAT A SHAME WAS LOOKING FOWARD TO USING THESE.
