Wow, what a song and amazing voice. I had never heard of David Phelps until a few years ago. A friend let me hear this song, and I told her he sure has an amazing voice. I found out he was coming to the area and got us tickets to go see him. It was my first Christian concert. It was wonderful. He is wonderful in concert. This is my favorite song to hear him sing.

Let's look at facts and reality. Jesus was born a Jew, a man from the hand of God, made of steel and backbone, undaunted and unafraid to speak truth, who chose to defy the Hippocrates and Pharisees.
He overturned the money chargers table in the Marketplace. He was brave enough to choose to die in execution on a cruel Roman cross. He didn't practice religion. He practiced hard core reality and love for those who choose the pathway of truth and light.
I have listened to Legacy of Love cd until I have almost worn it out. 😅 I can't decide what song is my favorite. I have seen you in concert several times and my husband says you are my most expensive ticket (reckless driving ticket)

Pity David’s voice changed into a more pop sound … the devotion that so part of his unique sound has faded. He seems no longer to sing for God’s glory … but for the appreciation of his listeners to sell his music.
