Thank you for posting these! I came to GH in early ‘98 so I’ve only seen brief clips of the Nikolas and Stefan arrival. How brilliant the show was then! I never realized just how many times Nikolas left Lucky dumbfounded and stricken by news he was unaware of. Everyone involved in this story was brilliant
Luke's being so self-centered here. What happened to Laura was horrible. She's kidnapped, blackmailed into a marriage, and her bargain with Stavros can hardly be considered consent freely given. And poor Nikolas.
I assume you've been binging this channel. Really, it gets crazy during this era with Luke and Lucky. It isn't until sometime in 2000 that he actually acknowledges on a deeper level that she suffered horribly.

I struggle with the legend of L&L with how horrible he is this entire story. By the time I was old enough to watch years later he STILL hated NiK, as if this was done to him instead of Laura

Luke would have went to the cassidine island, killed all the cassidines, brought Laura's son back to her and would have then immediately left. Luke Spencer doesn't raise somebody else's kid because he doesn't need to. He is Mr. Amazing. Luke reached a level where he could get any woman he wants, he doesn't have to settle, period.

Kidnapping by cassidines is not comparable to the rape. Luke was going to die. He told her to leave several times. She wouldn't. They were already in love(Law Books). All that makes it different from the kidnapping. Laura is/was responsible for staying, for always wanting to hang around Luke and for the lying. She is not blameless by any stretch of the imagination. Luke is a real, extraordinary man. He is not a fool, a cuckold or a simp.

To follow up on prior comments regarding Ryoko's channel - that channel was yanked by YT. That uploader was starting to upload pre-end-game stuff with LNL, and I was just starting to see LnL stuff I had never seen before. Then "yank". This also happened with a Laura/Lesley episode on another channel where the actual video was available regarding David Hamilton when Laura told Lesley the truth - that she had remembered killing David Hamilton. I was able to see that video, and 1 week later the whole channel was yanked. It was called Nick Bellini, and it had mostly "The Doctor's" videos, but it had this vintage piece of GH, and one or two others. Damn you, YT.

She told Luke about it when he came back. Luke told Laura about that after she came back. Luke did not know about Ethan.

I feel for Laura and Nikolas here. A few weeks old baby was left to the wolves quite literally to save luke and protect her other family but also Laura was a victim of horrible abuse here and rape sounds like. Nobody should be condemning her from Luke or Luckys side. She made a terrible choice. Nikolas deserves to seek answers he’s a wounded abandoned lonely kid who was raised by vultures. No wonder he struggles as an adult to stay on the right side of good.

How wrong can they be? My gosh. And Laura tells Luke how she loved him so much at his innaugaration but tells Stefan the opposite in 3 years that she tried to run away from Luke that day. Twisted storys, ages, a total mess. The only reason I watch this is because of the quality of acting that Genie, Tony and Jonathan, and others on this show give me. Alot of great actors here.
No, it's not. I had a friend with AML, and the donor match came from a non-relative. His brother was not a match, so they had to do the same thing - the donor registry. Someone came close enough, I can't remember the match percentage, but it was closer than my friend's brother.
@@betsykeller9096 I never would think to put myself on a donor list for bone marrow. Maybe I should. I just wonder what motivates people to be on the donor list. I remember the next year on oltl back Starr needed a donor as she had the same condition. A non relative was the donor for starr. Blairs unborn baby was a match & they were going to use his stem cells & he died. So it was so funny Alex was the donor
@@natalieps2387 I'm deathly afraid of needles, or I would have done it. My friend died because he needed a second bone marrow transplant, and the donor wasn't able to do a second round. It's really sad. AML is different than aplastic anemia. But, things just don't always stick even when it's a reasonable match. The bone marrow he did get, did extend his life, but it wasn't enough.

So its important to have it in hospitals bc they do have shortages. Maybe I also should join a donor list. I'd never think to do that either but i wonder what prompts people to do it. Also isnt unrealistic that nik was the donor & half sibling while lucky was a full sjb? It's also odd have the cassadines had laura under surveillance all these years? Bc how would they even know to check on lulu plus isnt lulus name anonymous. I may have missed these explanations in a video here or there.
It's funny binging on these. The writing mistakes become obvious. Which is disappointing because they're so unnecessary. All the writers would need to do is look at the previous videos. Ex. in 1983 Helena admitted to Stavros that she helped Laura escape and Laura told Luke that Helena set it up, giving her money and a passport. Yet now she doesn't know who gave her the newspaper or helped her. Or, here Laura says she tried to get Nikolas by reaching out to the one person on the island she could trust - presumably Stefan. Yet later, she says it was the nanny.
Bobbi so pretty I wish she didnt get all that surgery bc look at nancy lee grann and jane elliot they look beautiful and u can see they didnt have work done if they did its minor. I was in school for most of this story I watched until Sept but why did they do this ? Why did stefan have Nik donate blood to save his Luke's child ?
Whatever happened to Laura when the cassadine misled her kept her against her will Luke never did that to Laura even though Luke raped her she never was forced to be with Luke she fell in love with Luke
Lasha. Immediate destruction of a well established character, Laura. She's now Lasha. Stefan is the worst character I've ever seen in 30 years on GH. He has like 10 different personalities. Rediculous. Terrible choice and it's turturing to watch him during this saga.

I think the acting by the Spencer’s is top notch! But the whole story is repulsive.
