I usually sit on the right side of the plane when landing in PWM, but sitting on the left for this flight proved an incredible reminder of everything you miss on the right: views of Maine's coast, Cushing Island, the Ram Island Light, and that stunning view into the mouth of the harbor and down to the runway. Great Pond, Cape Elizabeth at 2:29 (at the wingtip). Portland Head Light (center, near wing tip) at 3:36 Spring Point Light (just forward of the engine) at 4:26 and at 4:49 Yacht basin at 5:05 where Liberty Ships were built during WWII

@@flapsnslats Hi flaps. You must be right. I had to do a bit of digging, but it looks like it is for the port or perhaps the close-by region. It's a non-sequitur anyway and what a wonderful part of the country and the video is a great way to show it. Best.
The contents of those tanks is the southern end of a pipeline to Canada.
