    Nice video....what model and size Lund you have? Looks like a 1675 Impact.

      Thanks!! You're close, it's the 1650 Rebel. It's been an amazing boat for me. Only has the 60hp but still does 34mph and trolls down to walleye speeds nicely.

    I like the bimini top setup. Do you have the manufacturer and a retailer where purchased? Thanks in advance.

      Google "marine mart 6 rod rocket launcher" and it will come up.

      depends on where you're fishing, but if you're trying to catch lakers they will be deep this time of year when the surface temps are high. Try looking in 70-120ft deep close to shoals or breaks. They are easy to spot on bottom with sonar. Then drag flutter spoons or "spin n glos" close to bottom. Using gang trolls or flashers in front of your baits will get you more action as well.

    Nice fish! How far back is your gang troll from your release clip? Thanks.

      Thanks! 30ft back from release clip. 70-100ft deep. Generally within 5 ft of bottom but have caught many suspended fish on this setup as well

    Nice video. How does your boat handle the big lakes? Do you have to keep an eye on the weather?

    • @plattinumfishing
      @plattinumfishing  Před 6 lety

      Ben546 Thanks! It handles big water very well for a 16.5 ft boat. It's a lund rebel 1650. I watch the forecast closely before going.

    What lures do you recommend?

      Spin n glo rigs are amazing if you're downrigging for lakers. Google "spin n glo lake trout" there is lots of tutorials out there how to rig them. Also mag size spoons in green, chartreuse or watermelon take a lot of heavier fish.
