    So excited to FINALLY share my dream bedroom makeover! It’s been a slow moving process but I’m extremely happy it’s finally complete. The room had a lot of space to play around with, I wanted the vibe to be very casual, eclectic with green accents. I absolutely love how it turned out! Which area of my bedroom is your favorite? "Editing Drew", never, ever, ever, feel that you have to explain your purchases to anyone...even us, your fans (especially us, your fans!). You do work hard and you deserve whatever you want to have. Hey, so you have champagne tastes! I'm with you! The rug is amazing and looks so beautiful with the wall color and the beautiful wood of your bed (that bed!!! 🥰). The transformation with the chairs, the bed, the feature wall, the black-framed closet, the curTains (lol!!)...is simply amazing. It's so calming and very chic. I love it!! Awesome job, Drew! 😍

      If I wanted to replicate this look and I get to the part with the rug and it’s like two grand, I’m going to think his entire house is made of expensive items which is fine and I’m happy for him, but it’s probably not the kind of content I’d come back to because I’m poor as dirt lol. I think maybe that’s what he was trying to get at, that he’s still doing DIYs for us poor folk but he wanted to splurge in this one item.

Better to buy quality rather than cheap stuff that might not last as long. Buy what you love: you don't have to justify the purchase! Thanks for the nice video!

Interior design is so much more than decorating. There’s a bunch of “interior designers” on HGTV like Magnolia Farms and Meghee... but they aren’t licensed as well so they don’t have the training or ability to architecturally change/build without hiring an architect or someone who has a stamp to release construction documents. That rug is so nice! A good neutral rug with tiny pops of color, that is handwoven, wool, AND VINTAGE, is so hard to find. And there is no need to justify the price you paid. A hand knotted, wool rug. Everyone needs to STOP buying cheaply made plastic propylene artificial material rugs, that don’t last and look cheap. Buy ONE good hand knotted wool Turkish / Moroccan / made in India rug, new or vintage restored/revived from a trusted source, and use it and care for it for a lifetime!

      While I agree that he shouldn’t be judged for the amount he payed for the rug, it’s sort of weird for you to say everyone needs to buy a real authentic Indian made rug. Like I’m sure all of us would love to but many of us aren’t fortunate enough to be able to drop 1500 on a rug. A lot of people want their space to be comfortable but don’t have an unlimited budget

    • @LittleGrayPanda
      @LittleGrayPanda Před 3 lety +3

      Dominic Zaragoza you can eventually invest in a hand knotted rug made in India, Turkey or Morocco or even made in the US. You can get whatever rug that suits your budget now, and when the time is right, invest in a good one later. Sort of like furniture or a good mattress, or even fashion, investing in good pieces later are going to save you money from having to rebuy these items later. I agree, not everyone can afford a hand knotted wool rug. But these are items that one can get when the time is right in their life and save money down the road from having to rebuy later.
      Also check home goods for hand knotted rugs. You’ll be surprised. People are finding wool hand knotted rugs for $130-$400. So these rugs can be affordable if purchased at the right place too. It’s just more difficult to find the right one for your home since home goods can be a treasure hunt. And you have to be lucky sometimes. I found one for $129 that I really liked but it sold when I didn’t buy it right away.

      Wool really isn’t a great material, especially if you’re allergic. It’s a pain to clean, a feast for pests and the source of the wool is usually questionable.

      I totally disagree with you. I live in Henderson Nevada and our Home Goods has a huge rug selection with hand woven wool rugs that price to 3000$ but 1200 or 1500 at Home Goods. When I was living in Chicago, the Home Goods was not as good ,so I think it's the area you live in that determins the selection at your HOME GOODS.

    Love the rug!! No need to justify anything! When you work hard and can afford it, do it!!! ❤️

    I have a depression and cptsd. I hope at some point in my life I can do the things you do and have so much fun with it as you do. Your energy picks me up and I really enjoy seeing your creativity coming to life.

    I love the fact that you add some dark colours, that you don't usually see a lot on CZcams or in general.

    I love the bird bath. You can literally have small pants there, water them and not afraid to ruin the table.

    Wow i love. It has a very calming chill vibe by adding the green, wood furniture, and plants. I love

    Wow just wow. Favourite bits, the rug of course, paint/panel wood and the light fixture.
