Dallas Dhu Historic Distillery, Scotland

Dallas Dhu Distillery produced whisky from 1899 to 1983. The visit is self guided with the use of hand held recordings. As it is no longer a working distillery we were able to take our time to view all the processes used. We have been around a few distilleries when in Scotland but Dallas Dhu was the best yet. Suitable for Children and Family viewing

Perhaps those barrels are the ones they shipped in from Spain which had Sherry stored in them as they use them for storing Whisky and then leave it to mature.
