How did you manage to beat Maul??? I have beat this game with every character (including Maul himself, Padme and Panaka) but could never manage it with Plo Koon. 20 years I have been trying (as recently as this last December), yet I still can't manage it.
I noticed you were trying to get on a lower position on the stairs in the first 2 encounters of the level (so much for the high ground...) and in the remaining encounters you seemed to use the 3 hit combo, landing only the 3rd strike and tried to engage him when he was either walking toward you or stood still.
Is this a technique you consciously tried to apply or was it totally random and my desperate mind is trying to decipher some non-existent hidden meaning?

I can tell you that: it was not a desperate move, since I used that tactic more than 15 years ago when the game ended with him. I knew that combo had a 50% or less chance of working, so it was with a bit of luck.

@@TheAmateurEditor did you manage to do it? I´m triyng on a DreamCast emulator and it´s impossible to defeat him, i can´t pass to the third part, he keeps doing his infinite combos that i cant defend and take half my life. It´s so frustrating

Yeah its maces special, he ducks down and his saber flies all around him, its effective for doing lots of damage to groups

It means Force. Use L2 at the end of the highlighted Combo to used a sick looking attack.

This was the hardest level to get the points needed to get all 3 upgrades. I had to kill myself then go backwards at certain save points to get additional points from enemies i already killed.
