I can't believe it's only been 9 years I've had her voice in my head. I don't usually love when artists "grow up" and release an album that ends up feeling so much more adult. I love this one. I love the fact that what I see in her videos is a representation of a normal, relatable female body, and not the hardly realistic "big butt, big bust, small waist, thin" stereotype by which we are constantly bombarded with. She's so authentic both in her looks, as well as in her lyrics/music. The whole album is great, it's honest, it has an idea behind it. She and her music is/are very inspiring.

I quickly search all of her work and I couldn't feel more in sync with an artist, her raw lyrics, along with the sickest beats, I really really saw a popstar on her most vulnerable and true side. She's still with me, on my lowest moments, and on my brightest, even now, that I'm dealing with my worst mental state. she keeps taking me out of bed and taking me to dance.

I swear Tove lo also has non conforming single Moms in her heart because her music has got me through some patches! So unapologetically authentic❤! The pressure is even worse if your a single parent! To settle down, buy that house! I’ve learned I do best with a lot a fun friends, close friends and sometimes a romantic friend as my support network. I got a lot of criticism that he needed the structure of a partnered home, stricter etc but, I always gave him voice in our decisions and a say. My son is now 16, absolutely the coolest person I know! Respectful, kind, makes wise friend choices, has solid boundaries, stays out of trouble, doing great in School! We’re best buds and a team! It’s literally the ultimate fuck you to ALL the criticism!

Electropop supreme, so many songs on this album go much deeper than the usual fare. True Romance, Grapefruit, No One Dies from Love and How Long all compete in that arena. But for me, "True Romance" showcases Tove's husky yet fragile voice most, while How Long combines vocal virtuosity with some of the highest production values I ever heard in the genre, while the video on this here publication ( Tove, I'll come you your show AND bought that elusive blue vinyl!), reminisces of the tongue-in-cheek (I did a thing there) antics of Madonna's "Sex". All in all: Bravo! Encore! The best is yet to come for sure! Total art-package in a hotter than hot wrapping.

Electropop supreme, so many songs on this album go much deeper than the usual fare. True Romance, Grapefruit, No One Dies from Love and How Long all compete in that arena. But for me, "True Romance" showcases Tove's husky yet fragile voice most, while How Long combines vocal virtuosity with some of the highest production values I ever heard in the genre, while the video on this here publication ( Tove, I'll come you your show AND bought that elusive blue vinyl!), reminisces of the tongue-in-cheek (I did a thing there) antics of Madonna's "Sex". All in all: Bravo! Encore! The best is yet to come for sure! Total art-package in a hotter than hot wrapping.
