'My family don't find me funny'...
I was an innocent young man when I went to university. Early on I was invited to go out by some of the other students and ended up with them in a house one of them was renting. I was chatty and witty and was rewarded by gales of hearty laughter. I must've looked too pleased with myself because Julia, who I already had a huge crush on, told me very bluntly that the only reason they were laughing was because they were all stoned. Apparently, I wasn't as funny and erudite as I thought. Who knew marijuana made you giggly? I didn't.

Aww no I’m so sorry to hear that. I remember in my first year of high school 🏫 my drama teacher was doing some acting with us and at this point I had become confident in making people laugh as at the time I wanted to be a comedian, so I asked my drama teacher if I could do a comedy sketch before the end of the lesson while we still had the spotlight on and to her credit she let me. So I performed my comedy routine will all my best jokes as best I could remember and to my absolute embarrassment and humiliation no one laughed at all. I was so humiliated I didn’t know what to do so I just improvised and said jeez tough crowd eh and they laughed and I was like well it’s too bloody late now lol 😂.
I later realised that comedy is extremely hard to do because, it all depends on your audience, sometimes your audience will understand the jokes and laugh hysterically because they can relate to the jokes but other times they won’t because they don’t understand the joke or can’t relate to it. Nonetheless you carry on no matter what do the best you can and make it your own. I found that comedic acting was better for me because people could laugh at me more for playing the goofy fool. We all have our talents it just takes a while to find it, I hope this comforted you a bit.

They need to take a picture with the door open? Here in Austria they just put it in front of the door and it's there when I get home. Or they hand it to a random neighbour. Don't even need a signature

It's true you use to have to sign for it but with David and having over 100 people touching the device wasn't going to work with covid. So now the proof of delivery is the customer has opened the door
@@lukepatterson5367 pah open the door. Most of the time it's in front of my apartment door 😂. I live on the 7th floor and have a package from a random person who lives on the ground floor. Tried to take it to him on Friday he wasn't home hasn't bothered to pick it up 😂. With Amazon delivery proof of delivery is it was in the car once. They didn't do direct delivery here before covid so I don't know how it used to be. Thx for the info
Ha I work for DPD Stephanie I think macintyre was confusing Amazon and dpd we get in trouble if we don't take pic with the door open. Amazon yodel her!we just seem to leave it where ever they want 😀😀
@@lukepatterson5367 also sadly not a thing in Austria. Once my mum ordered a suitcase for my birthday. She had my Adress wrong. Upon asking where my delivery is I was told they left it in the hallway of that Adress since they couldn't find me. The Adress doesn't exist!
