@@SonicFreak77 They are mistaken. There is no act 2 footage. VGC released press footage seemingly from any earlier build of act 1 before the music was finalized. In it they used the Ark theme from Shadow the Hedgehog as a placeholder track.

Hypothetical Spoiler : - - Ian Flynn the writer for this game has said years ago that he wanted to make Time Eater the result of what happened to Mephiles/Ibalis/Solaris after being defeated in Sonic 06.
they gave this expansion of Sonic Generations *two very main reasons* behind it. 1 - was to give Shadow some *overall screen showing* after he was given a short but *very respected role* as a Boss Battle Antag due to his connection in SA2, SA2 Battle (SA2's updated reboot game) & that Sonic X anime. & 2 - To *Redeem Himself of being trolled too much* back in Forces game on his standalone DLC when he confronted Infinite, & didn't break a sweat beating him either. 😐
Wonder if at some point a version without the ring sounds will come out... The remix _does_ slap though, not _quite_ the original but it's still insane like most of Sonic's music XD
i agree, ever since forces it's been so electronic heavy. if they brought in heavy guitars at 0:46 this could've been the perfect version of vengeance is mine. but by the sounds of it, the results screen and new supporting me remix are more chill on the electronic side and is more metal/rock focused
