Jay and Lola have amazing chemistry. I heard they Jamie & Danielle used to date in real life off camera. You can tell they are close. A sad storyline but nice to see them get the spotlight.

But they did do some tests so maybe they just have to wait for the results.
All of the above is exactly why I don't watch it, they never have learnt how to balance out the negative storylines, and killing Lola is just a bad executive decision, they should be leaving the door open in the least.

This Lola's storyline is gonna be hard to watch, I wish she wasn't leaving this reminds me of the time Corrie randomly did a cancer storyline and got rid of Alma Baldwin back in 2001.
What's the reason they're killing her off? This year we've already lost Stuart and Rainie, Frankie has gone, we're going to lose Mick; Shirley; Janine and Scarlett by the New Year, and soon we're going to lose Lola. I personally think killing her off is unnecessary.
