I really liked that because she realized Shelby was deep down even more of a disaster than her and truly needed the calm acceptance that she never got from her family. It's like one of those situations where everyone else is freaking out around you and that enables you to be calm and rational. All Toni needed was someone other than herself to take care of.

The Wilds is so freakin good. Toni has a very volatile personality, with anger management issues. The dynamics of her friendship with Martha (her BFF) is interesting. But of course Toni and Shelby’s relationship is my fave. I highly recommend watching the series.
