Flagship blasters are good for those that don’t want/can’t spend money on the more expensive sets, but at the end of the day I don’t think it was a thing that was needed especially since the demand wasn’t there. For those that solely opened flagship blasters I suggest you just buy a box of F1 Lights Out which is a very underrated set in my eyes. When 2022 flagship blasters first released I was able to get two blasters, 3 cards I really wanted was the Max and Hamilton rainbow foil portrait, and a Hamchello rainbow foil. I opened the first blaster and pulled the Hamilton rainbow foil portrait, AND the Hamchello in the same blaster! The fireworks in that image combined with the rainbow foil makes it a beautiful looking card with the fireworks actually changing colors. I think flagship was just one of those things that held us over until the better sets came out, and once they did flagship was tossed to the side to be forgotten. Sure, it’s a good set for entry level, set builders, a way to potentially get someone new into F1 or cards, but for the majority I think it was just a place holder, something to keep us occupied and keep us hyped up for chrome/sapphire to release. Also, a big gripe that I had about flagship was it basically spoiled the surprise of what the chrome cards would look like and the images they used. Once you got to opening chrome there was no surprise because you knew what to expect already besides more color. If I’m willing to spend a lot more money on a hobby box like chrome, I would like to enjoy it without already knowing what ill see (if that makes sense). If they want to continue to make Flagship, I think they should use different images

Very hard to get the 2022 blasters in Canada since release. Too bad as I'm a big fan of the sparkle foils. I rarely see them mentioned - with flagship it seems more collect the checkered flags which are far more common. I was into 2021 sparkle foils pretty heavy and managed to collect nearly 2 full sets! Best of luck collecting your sets Glen!
