The minimum wage in Tokyo is 1000yen(Rs. 701)/1 hour.
If you do a part-time job, you can survive!
As you might have realized, the cabbage is not Rs. 900 but Rs.90.
It's written correctly but I said wrong. Sorry for the confusion!

What I learnt from this video and little bit of Google search:
In Japan you will earn more definitely than India.
If you are non veg , it's heaven for you. As it is almost equal costly in Japan for meat fish and eggs. Bonus as you will earn bit more.
If you are pure veg , you can survive but it will be genuinely difficult. Horrible costs in supermarkets on top of not finding all types of food and adequate sources of protein. Even the traditional Japanese Buddhist foods that is served in temples are very costly.
If you're in corporate world, you will face serious problems in going out to party and group eating activities which all organisations do , if you are veg.
So , if you are non veg , Japan is very very good place both for visit and stay. If you are veg like me, I won't discourage you but surely reconsider like I did.

Good evening Mayo ji, I just saw this video.. u r so good🙏an Indian like me cannot visit your great country but I can learn it with your beautiful/informative videos 🙂 I think , when compared to indian prices (I personally purchase groceries) the japan rates are double or triple.. also, I'm surprised to know that there's no dozen or KG in purchase.. yet, the standard of living in Japan is high.. in surprised to know that few young people are working but also there won't be problem of unemployment na .. ok when u show curries, the music was funny and sometimes u r funny without u realising that u r funny... for your next videos, u may start with telling about wheather and current temperature because in India, I don't think we have as much cold as japan... I really like your videos... Mayo, thanks for such videos 🙏
