I do not want to be in a “situationship” or just be a source of sporatic pleasure, so even though it hurts I think I’m going to suggest that we end things at least for now
Pile 3: very accurate. If you would have told me that they were romantically interested in me, i would not have believed you. Therefore thanks for the honesty. It is easier to get people hooked on you by telling them what they want to hear. But i appreciate your bluntness. 😄
1: I broke up with this person 6 months ago because he put in very little time or effort, did not prioritize me. After 5 years of him wanting no labels, FWB, off and on, disappearing for months at a time. He talked about wanting our relationship to be a safety valve, just for fun because his life is so full of burdens with kids, work, controlling wife. I said I wanted more dependability, openness, and some possibility of a different future. He said he didn’t love me, but wanted to keep seeing me because he likes having sex with me. I said we don’t want the same thing. I’m out. He somehow feels betrayed that I’m done with an FWB after 5 years. I also payed for everything and did all the traveling and most of the initiating. He’s offering nothing but occasional sex. My part is that I let this go on too long. The passion is great, but this is bread crumbing. I’m keeping him blocked. I learned a lot because my parents treated me in a similar way. I didn’t see I was over-giving for a long time. I was clear but not mean. I just said we want different things. If he wants to play the field, fine. Just not with me. Thank you 🙏
Five years is a long time to waste on someone who won't reflect back..and I totally understand how obsessive the trap is...please stick on your decision and find your happiness. You are not selfish for wanting what you really deserve..if that person is disappointed for you not accepting his breadcrumbs any longer, let him be disappointed. More power to you!
Pile 3. A classmate of mine decided to intern where I work and it seemed wayyyy to coincidental they’d choose my company for an internship, especially since they’re from outta state. This really helped me not over think the situation!
