It imitates what the Sufis innovated in the religion." [Tandheem Al-Ikhwaani al-Muslimeen, Page 139] Imām ash-Shafi'ī [رحمه الله] said: "Whosoever listens to music, then he is an idiot (سفيه) whose testimony is to be rejected." [الأم للشافعي (٦\٢٠٩)] Imām Shāfi'ī [رحمه الله] said: "Thagbīr (Anāshīd) were created by heretics to distance people away from the Qur`ān." [مجموع الفتاوى لإبن تيمية ١١\٥٣٢] Imam Ahmed Bin Hanbal [رحمه الله] was asked about ghinaa’ (singing/music). So, he said: "Music causes hypocrisy to sprout/grow in the heart" [Al-Mughni of Ibn Qudaamah, (12/42)] Shaykh al-Fawzān حفظه الله: "Nasheeds are not Islamic. They are like music. They should be shunned and not sold." [Al-Khutab Al-Mimbariyyah 3/184] Shaykh Sālih al-Fawzān حفظه الله: "Nasheeds are from the signs of the Soofis and Hizbis." [Fatawaa Ala Hawaa - 05/05/34] Sh. Sālih al-Fawzān حفظه الله said: "There's no such thing as 'islamic nashīd', this is the innovation of sūfīs, it is not permissible to promote them." [مجلة الدعوة (١٦٣٢)] Shaykh al-Albanî [رحمه الله]: "Nasheeds may be performed in the manner of songs & performed like the customs of western music." [Tahreem Alaat al-Tarb] < #Foresightedness of a Scholar! Shaykh al-Albanî [رحمه الله]: "This is a new mistake, and imitation of the non-muslims and immoral people." [Ibid] Ibnul Qayyim رحمه الله said: “Singing [and music] is worse and more harmful than stories of emperors, because it directs [one] to adultery and fornication and it is the fountainhead of hypocrisy. It is the snare of the Shaytaan, and it intoxicates the intellect, Its obstructing (people) from the Qur’aan is worse than any way in which other types of phony speech blocks them, because the souls of people lean towards [sounds like this] and have the desire to listen to it.” [Ighaathatul-Lahfaan’,1/258-259] Ibn Rajaab said: "People started singing about alcohol & other sinful activities therefore the sahaba took a firm stance against music." [Fat-h, Volume: 6, Page: 77] Ibn Mas'ūd رضي الله عنه said: "Music breeds hypocrisy in the heart just as water causes vegetation." [Igātha al-Lahfān 1/225-268] Shaykh 'Abdul Muhsin al-'Abbaad said, "A person should spend his time with what will give him good in return in this life and the life after this. Let him occupy himself with remembrance of Allaah, read the Qur'aan and beneficial books. Moreover, it is also fine to listen to beneficial poetry which urges to noble character and good adab. But as for these Anasheed which are listened to in these times, and which are sung in choirs to thereafter be recorded and sold, one should neither listen to them nor care about them (i.e one should ignore them)." Brother when you mention the hadith not to say if i havnt or have done this or that in the past it opens the doors of Shaytan yes it is true cuz it may lead you in depressionn but this doesnt mean that i cant blame myself or blame Allah and say "if" for things that i havent or have done in the past, for example if i didnt gave my effort to work harder and save money or to put my brain in function a little bit more and learn for example much more about a field that it was visible its golden future comming like Programming or try some businesses when i had the opportunity to do them when the competition was less and the opportunity was more to make money , or i married a whore and broke after a few years so all of this doesnt mean that i cant say IF because for all of this what i havent done in the past i was imposed by Allah to do or not to do , instead Allah has written for me my past and the present and the future cuz he knew it . But there are some cases where we say Qadarullah when we have given our effort and use all our possibilities and the thing we await to happen didnt happen , so this time we can say Qadarullah because behind this was a wisdom of Allah , but to say what you are saying " dont say if about your past because this was written already for you this sounds like a man is imposed by Allah on everything like a man is like a robot, and thia mean that if i didnt gave much effort to learn or work in the past and now im suffering what i havent done in that past that i could have done , this mean that i was imposed by Allah to be dumb or lazy and not visionary , which goes cant be because Allah is the most just. I accept the hadith to not say IF for ur past because it really puts u on depression and thoughts but not that all what happen was imposed by Allah cuz this is not justice and with no doubt Allah is the most just. And yes our free will is under Allahs will which means Allah wanted to let us free in many cases or most of cases which goes in accordance with what i typed above from the beginning , like Allah with his will has let me free and i could have use my mind to be more successful if i have done some wise things in the past and even with Allahs will i have give my whole effort in the past for something but what i wanted didnt happened cuz Allah didnt want that to happen because of a wisdom of Allah . I was struggling understanding the real meaning of Rizq hearing lectures like this which complicate things much more until i find a video of Shabir Ali about rizq and predestiny and a video of Sheikh Albani . If im wrong please correct me i dont know arabic and i dont come from a muslim country im kind of a reverted muslim
