The title in Icelandic means "The summer that never came", maybe an allusion to the shelter in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic?

Sigur ros and jonsi, soundtracks to my life
1:15 His melody here has a very Incan, native vibe to it. Just the pitch and the "Oooooooh" that he adds in. Like a very Indigenous intonation. I am from Chile, and his melody here triggers the Incan inside of me. It has a tribal feel to it.

This song is about his breakup with Alex and self-indulging afterwards. "Swill" means to "drink something in large quantities, or to wash or rinse something out by pouring large amounts of water or other liquids over it." So this is pretty much about his situation with Alex and how he's coped.
