Best one I've seen in this type of stopmotion shorts. The feeling of being different and not fitting in a headless blind stupid world, you accept them for what they are but they don't accept you, and to be accepted, to fit in, you change yourself, you cut something out of yourself that was an important part of you, they accept you, but at what cost? Now you're also a part of the headless world. Brilliant short, amazing concept, perfectly done! Bravo!

The headless people are people who lack direction in life (that's why they keep stumbling into shit) and they lack awareness. The reason why the "blind" person was there is only to show that there's no real difference between him and these other headless people, they're all blind in a sense. The thief was so blind that he thought there was a threat and so he started shooting everyone for no reason. (shows how people sometimes react foolishly and harm others bc of their lack of awareness or bc they're blinded by something else) Also notice how accidents happen bc of this same reason, they don't pay attention The boy with the head was the only one aware and different, he was very much aware of how different he is from everyone. But it shows that he wasn't happy about it bc he was planning to cut off his head from the beginning to be like everyone.. Even though a part of him didn't want to do it. He thought he if he fell in love he'd just be accepted like he is. But when the woman rejected him for his differences he finally decided to be like everyone else in order to feel accepted/loved and to fit in. He lost his way at the end, bc he lost himself like everyone else.

No head implies "no mind" - not having awareness of "who you are". Everyone is just dying because they are not aware..just running behind money,fame, rat race,love, relationship etc The blind man also died because he was greedy. The only man who had a head was actually "aware" & unique, but got "depressed of rejection" by the lady he loved. & Finally chose to be "same like everyone" & lost his uniqueness , lost himself in this materialistic world. Conclusion:- Be yourself, Have pride in your achievements and qualifications. Do not copy or compare yourself with anyone. Be brave and courageous to be yourself, the one who is like you, will definitely be with you, but also you would be complete in yourself without needing anyone with you..
That sounds pretty plausible. Though I'd have to wonder why the text itself seemed to treat Danny's self-decapitation as leading to a happy ending (he got to cheerfully trot off into the sunset with his girl). It seems hard to say he'd have been better off if he hadn't made himself a guillotine, just having to hopelessly watch everyone else stumble around while being loved by nobody.
You could interpret this film in several ways. 1- never lose your head over someone 2- don’t cut off your nose to spite your face 3- popularity isn’t everything 4- no one left with any brains. 5- don’t dumb yourself down for others to make themselves seem smarter. Regardless of the meaning, don’t be influenced negatively by the sheeple of the world. Art reflects life and it has never been more true than at this time in history with this film.

I thought it was a great addition personally. So much social commentary and life commentary in one little piece. Very well done. We cut our heads off just to be the same as everyone else, to be able to have the same experiences as everyone else. Sometimes the experience your peers are having is radical extremism and you wind up flying a plane into a building 😅 not that simple, but on a grander scale, it kind of is.
If Charlie Chaplin was there watching it, you would be seeing his tears in his eyes - not for sadness, but for the joy of seeing such a magnificent work of this new generation of storytellers.

I love how the blind person does not realise everyone else doesn't have a head either. Everyone else is also blind, but they keep moving on with their day. He may be homeless but he uses the blindness as an excuse to beg for money, not the homelessness. It really teaches us that sometimes, we need to stop using our problems for excuses and work hard to live. Others are surrounded by their problems and some may be worse than ours. Also the fact that no one else can see him, also shows us how blind of a society we are that we cannot even see the pain of others enough to share our joy with them. The Country of the Blind. I believe it's by H.G Wells. It's a short-story and a good read. I really recommend it! It shares the same concept as this short, but I believe that it was made way before.
This is an unique story, meaningful. It means that when the whole society go this way, you go other way of your own way or try to be different , you will not be accepted, although you are good or in perfect shape . it is problem of crowd's psychology , even that it is psycho syndrome ; so you must not be different , should be similar or the same as the crowd to mix in and accepted. when you are accepted you will live happily no matter the 9/11 event happen or not , it is not a big deal with you any more. in a world where our minds are shaped to be the same, we are all subconsciously the same and are all "blind", we are scared to be different and scared of people who are different, whether if that means that can "see". We are so use to the old life we have which we are secured in, we are scared of different people, because it breaks our tradition and belief of what is meant to be "normal" or "safe", even though it means that we are all living in a lie.
My interpreted of this film. the boy can see the truth that other people can't. Everyone else used to see things but decide not too due to the idea of "ignorance is bliss" and turn away from the truth because they are afraid of it. The boy has to cut away his ability to see the truth in order to fit in. This is what happen to me in my community...but again its only my own interpreted.

Well, having watched this short movie, in addition to reading your comment, it reminded me of Eugène Ionesco's famous play, Rhinoceros (If you have heard of).
The thing is, despite the vast differences between the plots, they resemble in some terms...

I love how the blind person does not realise everyone else doesn't have a head either. Everyone else is also blind, but they keep moving on with their day. He may be homeless but he uses the blindness as an excuse to beg for money, not the homelessness. It really teaches us that sometimes, we need to stop using our problems for excuses and work hard to live. Others are surrounded by their problems and some may be worse than ours. Also the fact that no one else can see him, also shows us how blind of a society we are that we cannot even see the pain of others enough to share our joy with them. I won't even talk about the robber, that guy was nutss

Sin duda esta peli tiene más de una lectura, pero trae mensajes bastantes directos, como el final en que el protagonista camina como Chaplin con una cita directa al estilo de mover el bastón y caminar con los zapatos hacia afuera, una escena muy brillante con un gran sol de fondo anticipando el fin, mientras a la izquierda un avión se estrella contra una de dos torres gemelas.
Se puede interpretar que mientras el sistema nos distrae con risas, por otro lado ocurren cosas muy siniestras.

My interpreted of this film. the boy can see the truth that other people can't. Everyone else used to see things but decide not too due to the idea of "ignorance is bliss" and turn away from the truth because they are afraid of it. The boy has to cut away his ability to see the truth in order to fit in. This is what happen to me in my community...but again its only my own interpreted.

TeeVee: Yes, I did. And at first I thought it was just a reference to the fact that the pilot also doesn't have a head and couldn't see the buildings that were taller than the others. So, I'm kinda torn as to which of the two the movie was actually referring to.
the twin towers were there the entire time. If cars are crashing, people are crashing, of course airplanes would probably not exist. There must be some race of people who DO have heads and eyes to make that stuff.
