If I wanted to watch farming practices...I'd go to a farming channel...
Oh ok, because of this comment I’m definitely never going to post another farming video ever again…. Just kidding, what I really meant to say was 🖕🏻
Oh, and I’m pinning this comment so that everyone see’s how much your opinion matters
Lol! Thank you for the Humor. We appreciate it
@@CaseyLaDelle Dude you rock. Keep it up. Love your content.
If you don't wanna watch it, don't click on it 🤣🤣🤣😳
My grandfather was born in Ukraine in 1897 and moved to the Willamette Valley with his extended family in 1900. I would estimate that he started working in the hay and straw harvest in around 1910. He likely did not miss an annual harvest until he was in his early 80's. Even after he retired he continued to work on his sons' farms until he was no longer able. During his life he saw the technology change from horse drawn mowers, tedders and steel-toothed riding dump rakes to tractor drawn equipment and gas-powered and PTO driven mechanical bailers that produced 50-100 lbs. bails that would be gathered from the field by hand. Grandpa would be flabbergasted, thunderstruck, amazed and over-joyed to see the equipment used in these videos. Actually, so am I.
Thank you for sharing your story. I bet your Grandpa would jump right into that new tractor at 80 because with the new technology he would have been able to. Great story thank you.👍✌
@@laughingatlife7100 as long as he could climb up there! Though some of these newer tractors have stairs rather than ladders.
Thank you for your story about your family. My grandparents were wheat farmers in western Kansas during the dust bowl and into the next decades. Harvest practices changed a lot in those years.
Thank you for sharing
Your grandpa may be surprised to see the knotters on that modern baler are the same design as they were in the 1920's. !!
Just more of them per machine.
AND he would be tickled you can tell you missed a tie by the manual "dancing reflectors", BEFORE the computerized alarm system noticed it!
I found Matt's Offroad Recovery when looking for tools to do self-recovery for my job. That led me to Fab Rats, Trail Mater, and Casey Ladelle, good folks all around. As far as Off-Road Recovery goes, my CZcams Plate is full and I welcome these excursions into different subjects with a host I know and trust to entertain and inform. Thanks, Casey.
I wasn't looking to do recovery, but that's pretty much the same path that got me here. I also watch the other channels involved with the Golden Nugget recovery and restoration, so Chad's Fab, Mischief Maker, Robby Layton, Bikes and Beards, etc. I have definitely learned a few things watching all of them, about off roading, wiring and fabrication tricks, in addition to the recoveries. I even got to help with a kinetic rope recovery, quite interesting to actually see it first hand.
@@jerryb1234 Neven seen an unwatchable FabRats video.
You're on a farm ( actually several ) hanging out with friends , helping out wherever you are needed , fixing things , and recording videos for everyone to enjoy . Thanks , Casey
Hey Casey, just wanted to thank you for your positive attitude and for your honesty. With so much garbage out there these days, it is refreshing to watch your videos. 🙂
Farmig, off road, off road recovery. Every thing i love. Thank you Casey. You have the best channel on youtube🤟🤟.
Good thing zip ties and Duct Tape are around since they got away from bailing wire to bailing twine😜
The complexity of the equipment is amazing. And applause to the farmers who drive and maintain the equipment.
Last I checked this was your channel and you are a grown a** man with a family and successful business. If you want to go hang out with your friends and have fun why not because every one commenting on your video leaving comments like if i want to watch farming practices I will go to a farming channel do not have to watch every video you make. They do not realize that you got your start with heavy rescue and big trucks so the farming your friend does using his show trucks is interesting to you and myself also. I watch every video you put out and love the content. Keep up the great videos.
Interesting to see how this equipment works.
When I was a kid my dad farmed 100 acres in 1950's! Hay process was tractor with sickle mower, then rake it, then bale it, then a tractor with a flat trailer and 2 boys in the field one on the tractor and dad on the trailer! I enjoy all of the videos you put out!
I love watching a professional at work.
I'm loving ANY video we get from you, but the ones where you go see different friends and the many different tasks seem to make it even better. Too many people take for granted just how much work farmers put into getting their products to the next level, and these serve (in my mind) as an excellent reminder of those facts. Plus I love seeing the different country views.
My break time = Casey and coffee! Best part of my day...
The way those trailers were creaking coming out of the field I wondered if the stacks were the only thing held together with pull ties 😆
When you can enjoy yourself working with mate's it makes work bearable, great video thanks again, all the best to yous and your loved ones
love your videos Casey, grew up in a Farming family, 70 years ago, none of that stuff was in anyone's mind back then. Manual stacking of hay by hand...
2 CENTS A BAIL
Love all the toys👍👍. I wanted to thank all the people for letting us watch them work and you for another great video.
Really enjoy the variety of content. I was born in Seattle. Spent most of my teen spring breaks at Mt Batchelor skiing. Spent a lot of evenings running around Bend.
Casey delivers another sweet video.
Thank you 🙂
Excellent response! 👍😎🤣🤣🤣 You tagging along with your friends and showing us their business is very interesting! Keep sharing your life with us and we will keep watching! Stay safe out there!❤️🙏
That was a good watch thank you Casey. ❤️🇦🇺🇺🇸
You have inspired me to add zip ties to my suv's rescue gear along side of the duct tape.
I enjoy your "tag-along" videos. You are a talented man.
Thanks Casey. Really enjoy this content 😍
I enjoy watching something a little different than the recovery towing business and I think you’re showing great!
I'm not sure if you read the comments on your older videos, but I'm trying to get caught up. Anyway, this video is the first time hearing about a straw operation like this one. A lot of wheat farmers don't bale the straw. They just till it back into the ground. Love the videos. Keep up the good work.
Thank You for that fine example of modern farming equipment . Also a fine example that field crossings are not designed for modern equipment. A fine example of farmers finding a way , and if the truck does the job , there is no reason to change
You had me laughing. My brother was a truck driver for 20 years. His boss said my brother always made it home. He could fix anything on the truck with baling wire and a potato chip box.
LOL the zip tie and driveline is a great trick 😂😂💪
Matt wearing a tie, Casey using zip ties... something is going on here !
WOW! Absolutely amazing equipment!
The first time I saw the clamp or squeeze machine I thought it was an old airport tug converted .
that was so rad Casey! How neat that this new attachment came from Spain. I grew up in Switzerland and when some farmers upgraded to Massey Ferguson tractors we all were so in awe as it was the biggest tractors we had ever seen. Keep the videos coming Casey, you razzing your friends adds to the rad content. Definitely would love to see the special barn.
Incredible amount of effort and equipment needed for this. They must sell an awful lot of hay/straw.
A day of operating farm equipment beats just about any job I can think of! Good stuff Casey, thanks for sharing.
You show that you enjoy having a laugh or having some fun. I can't fault you for it
It's all about economics and efficiency such a awesome piece of equipment. Have a great day Casey and as always be safe 👍
Love the “Farm” episode! Amazing hydraulics in action! Where I’m at it’s just two of us, both seniors 😂
Nothing wrong with driving around and messing with your friends...
Farm machinery amazes me. Someone tossed and turned many nights designing that baler.
very beautiful trucks! love the long flatbed with the shorter trailer.
And, it is cool how it actually got its trailer in the drive better than the other set up.
Could actually see why before the maneuver was finished.
Looks like all that Farms equipment is beautiful! That forklift is amazing!
It's interesting to see the management of larger bales. I remember the smaller ones from the 60s when I lived on a farm in Denmark. All this equipment is so much bigger.
I’m game to watch anything you think is cool, Casey.
I'm never ceased to be amazed at the variety of this channel! Great job Casey!
That's great how Jesse takes the classic 359 truck and trailer and leaves the newer equipment for the drivers. He's a very hands on guy and is familiar and proficient in all his equipment. A lot of people are asking why these trucks are so long-
It's called the Oregon "Bridge Factor" for weight distribution purposes and... the Jesse Bounds cool factor. I love those trucks for that reason. Great explanation on the way all this stuff works Casey, really enjoy these videos because this is my neighborhood too. I'm sure we'll cross paths someday. Well done sir.
This was very cool. I don't usually see those huge square bales just the huge round ones. I enjoy watching equipment of all kinds.
I find it funny you are bailing straight from the rows, we used to turn the hay for a sunny day to get the moisture content down.
Remember, this is grain straw, it was dried before harvested, then went through a combine, and then sat in the field for weeks. It’s dry.
Really enjoyed this completely-new for me experience!❤
I like old barns, bring on the video. Friend of mine is manager of the Johnson Ranch here in West Texas. The barn is around 100 years old and full of cool stuff, a lot of it hand made.
Love all your videos. Jesse and his crew seem like good down to earth hard working farmers- what this country was built with. Excited to see the barn video or any that you post. You're a great guy as well. Stay safe and GOD bless
Hey Jarod. . Wow.. .You grew up. . Good to see you on the video.
Great video, harvest time has really changed, all modernized thumbs up
wow, that is an amazing equipment!!
That rake set up sure looks handy for that operation. It wouldn't work well for the way we use to put up hay though. Hay would dry out on top and still be a bit damp underneath, so raking might start at 9 to 10 AM, roll the hay over into a windrow and let it sit till after dinner before starting to bale.
Straw is a different story.
Great video we love ❤️ farming agriculture Peterbilts and squeezes
Really enjoy these videos. The new rake baler is fantastic. Can’t wait until tomorrows video
Every one of these videos I watch make me wonder why I didn’t take Agricultural Engineering at University of Wyoming instead of Civil Engineering? Who what fun I could have had! Thanks for another neat video, Casey!
Casey I thoroughly enjoy your videos don't change a thing. There are many kids out there that don't know how the food gets on their table and you gave them a little window into seeing what is involved and how much work there is to do that. You have many people that watch your videos for the off-road recoveries but when they see these videos they say to themselves I didn't know that. Too bad there is not more teachers teaching Middle School students especially in inner cities how hard the farmers work to get their food on the table for them.
Wire baler, LoL! We used those when I was really little, then we got a string baler, used hemp twine. Everything I see these days is in colorful nylon twine.
Very interesting stuff. Thanks for sharing. Blessings to all.
A guy needs a farmers fix in his life just because. God bless
That Was Pretty Cool, & What A Operation 👍👍👍😉
Jesse has some amazing trucks. I would love to drive for him.
I think that’s cool! Nice change of pace. In Australia they might be pulling 8-10 of those trailers w/one cab.
I think it is great content we have come a long way from doing it all by hand and horses modern farm technology in action thanks
Casey I really enjoyed this video seeing the different machines that are used. I really enjoy this series keep up the great work
Casey, I enjoy watching these and those of you and Ben. I find them very interesting, keep posting them please. I liked the rake, it looked like it made the job go much faster.
Hay this is Casey’s farming & maintenance channel & don’t make fun of it , you might learn something got it , get it , good !!!!!!!! Never be upset at a farmer , they keep us alive .& fed .
I've delivered school buses to Sacramento California. I see the tandem Tomato haulers this reminds me if them. Great driving skills on the field pull in. No A/C in the high dessert whoa. Big boy stacks YEAH.
I LIKE THESE. I FIND THEM VERY INTERESTING. I COULD HAVE LIVED THAT LIFE STYLE!
My experience is an old hay baler, with people like me throwing the bales up to a truck, another person stacks it on the trailer or truck. Some were fancy and had a hand hook to help pick up bales. Now I wish I had my own farm.
Thanks for another great video.
Those are some sharp sharp trucks!!!!!!
Cool look at some honest work going on there!
That rake looks like a monster.
Those trailers are the same ones that Barnum and Bailey circus would use when moving the circus through town
Funny your I’m my neck of the woods see these trucks roll through town all the time
I've lived in the valley since the 80's but never had a window into grass farming, thanks for showing us the behind the scenes!
WOW that's awesome thanks did not know that 👍🤔
Keep putting out great content, I find the farming interesting too.
Not the baler I am used to. Was a time when baling hay or straw was physical labour. Now it's all mechanical. Heaving the bales onto the trailer and stacking making sure they survive the ride across the field towards the barn. You learned fast how to stack a secure load. Then there was the hay loft on a 35 degrees Celsius (95 F) day. Farming builds character. Good times. Would change it for the world.
Great video. Thanks Casey
That new machine is awesome. It will really make a difference for Jessie. Them having to make that wide swing into the field to get in and out of the driveway is great, but what about after some rain? That ground will be too wet!
Not a problem, because if it rained enough to make the ground wet, they wouldn’t be hauling any straw out anyways
I've quite enjoyed this hay series of videos.
Love every bit of this journey And meeting your friends this has been an awesome videos
We had balers but no stackers it was done by hand. The Baler had a shoot that would push the bales up to the wagon behind the baler, you would pick it from the baler shoot and stack it on wagon. Some times the bales where dropped on the ground then you come back with the wagon throw them up on wagon and someone would stack. Farming was no joke it was hard manual work. Farming is definitely not what it used to be. When we had time we would go to another farm and help them put up hay. It was good a experience but i don't miss it. Dad sold the cattle after us boy's left home. Not to say the girl's didn't get in on it. It wasn't there idea of fun. Interesting to see how far it's come.
Casey, I recently been watching your videos, and subscribed to your channel. I really like your humble attitude and your willingness to show us your mishaps/learning process as you film. We all make mistakes and learn from them. But I got to tell you, I went back and saw the segment when your Jeep fell off your rolling jack and the track pinched your foot. Hilarious!!! I laughed so hard that it made my eyes water! I’m glad you’re okay. I subscribed right after that. two jacks and jack stands is my new rule. Take care.
Awesome Casey . Keep on what you're doing good video
It's expressive that they can get those trailers in those tight turns. Yet some can swing with in a trailer 53inches.
Awesome Video very interesting God Bless America.
Another great video ,... SWEET !!
Seen the rake on their Instagram post great piece of equipment
You have way too much fun doing this stuff lol!
Big operation thanks
Wore my “I never said I was good at this” shirt to pick up my trailer and Blake at CoachMasters knew instantly. He’s a big fan. Said he’s done some work for you. Glad you went there. Best rv shop in Bend and they do Banks Diesel stuff.
Blake is awesome! I helped them get Tanners old Chevy truck picked up and hauled home!
He is. Been taking my Black Series trailer there for all my warranty work. He’s hopefully joining me for a trip out to the desert next month
thanks Casey for an informative and interesting video.looking forward to the next one.
I remember bucking bales back in the day lol.
Love to watch the variety show.
Zip ties and duct tape fixes almost everything. 👍🤣
Nice video lots of work ahead
