- Oxford Street and Regents Street are CRAZY this year! With amazing lights, busy shoppers and some very wild rickshaws to brighten up the roads. Today I also take you to John Lewis and then to the world famous luxury store Selfridges to see the Christmas store and more!

London is such a vibrant place with so much atmosphere. Its always so lively and the shops have got loads to choose from. Thank you for showing us all the sights and sounds. I really enjoyed watching as always.

I was in london for 7 days 2 weeks ago, it was my first time traveling alone and outside Canada. I was so happy and I visited many places, i love every minute of this trip.

Rickshaw wise - great advice. Never done it. Prefer to walk. Prob quieter and less bright too!
I do wonder why those stores rack the heating up so high, when many stores are going out of business.
You start to get clausto a little, and just wana get out...
Good to see the deccies tho, and the fancy foods.
I"d say Oxford Street is a road now just to visit a couple of stores you want to see. It's no longer the street of all the stores to browse. And at night, you have to have your wits about you so much, with so many distractions: some that are on purpose!

I was in England in 2018 and I couldn't believe that those rickshaw things are allowed in London. They give it a foreign feel which I'm sure can't be popular, especially with tourists. Other than that, I would love to able to spend a Christmas in London. I love Regent Street and the decorations. Nothing compares.
We all hate them, some people are pushing to make them illegal.
On another vloggers site I saw they have them in New York as well They are sooo out of place in both cities

I hear you on the price tags and the packaging, Hannah. I used to work in a big retail company and so I see all the errors as well 😜 To be honest I hate the loud music in the stores. A few days ago I went to Fortnum at St. Pancreas and they had carolers singing. It was so much better than the computerized "music" other stores play. Also, good point about the trainers. Last time I was in London I ruined my shoes (and feet!) and this time I totally killed my feet again. I really have to get some trainers, even though I hate them. 🙄

Germany and France have great Christmas decorations
Hannah, one thing that is so frustrating for the past few years is that when you try to find a Christmas Crib (Nativity Scene) either you cannot find it or it’s insanely expensive - trying to find anything relating to the real meaning of Christmas, that of Christ’s Birth, is almost impossible to find, so I do all of my Christmas shopping in mainly Catholic stores online, as I’m a very religious person being Irish myself - we do have a John Lewis store in the Trafford Centre here in Manchester but the prices are insanely expensive 🇮🇪☘️🇬🇧❤️

Westminster Cathedral in Victoria Street near Victoria Station, and Westminster Abbey opposite Big Ben, both have a shop which sell nativity sets. John Lewis department store also sell a wide range every Christmas.
I lived in LDN 20 years ago! (when I studied my MSc) I spent XMas and New Year's in the city.
Regent Street hasn't lost any of the amazing decoration and festivities mood!

Hi Hannah! Thanks for taking the time to film Christmas at Selfridges! I’ve never been to London in the Winter, it’s mostly been in the Spring and early Autumn. Selfridges is always my “must go to” when Im in town. Their outside windows looked great, and their Christmas Ornaments?? Meh. Only exception would be for me is the Queen Elizabeth 2, the soft version….so so charming! Get some sleep, enjoy your weekend and thanks again! 💖🙋🏻♀️🇺🇸

The stair wells are always so beautifully decorated. I too worked in retail, loved the crowds. The days flew by, exhausted when I got home but loved it. It was certainly a switch from nursing which was also busy but in a different way. 🥰🎄I also have biscuits, no such thing as a cookie where I live. Thank you for another lovely video.

Love going to Selfridge's around Christmas whenever I'm in London. They just go bonkers with the decorations and stuff they have on sale. Oxford and Regents Streets takes on a different vibe around Christmas. Thanks for taking us on tour.
Fabulous! The scenes from the street were bonkers. Less for the crowds and more the number of camera “crews”. John Lewis had great displays, but I am puzzled by the choice of a Venus Fly Trap/Audrey II from Little Shop of Horrors as a “theme”. Very much enjoyed the cinema theme in Selfridges. Seeing all the chocolate counters was an absolute treat! Now I’ll have to try a Quality Street tin. Thank you, Hannah for taking us along with you on these tours. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Love your channel Hannah and to your question if London has the best Christmas lights, I say YES. I’m from Canada and we were in London for Christmas last year and the lights blew us away. Loved London sooo much came back mid October and I was able to get some pictures of them putting up the lights. Merry Christmas to you and yours!!!!

I was watching a movie last night. Was that Selfridges, where Rowan Atkinson played a jewellry counter clerk determined to over wrap a certain Christmas gift? Never have I suspected to see Karl Lagerfeld as a Christmas tree bauble holding his millionaire lilac point Birman in his arms. Hannah branded Quality Street! I would definitely say London has the best Christmas lights. Wow, Hannah, those are the biggest crowds on the streets I think I have ever seen in one of your videos. The colorful pedal cars (not sure what they are really called) and the people whizzing by on bikes is really something. Be careful out there! Love the earrings, by the way.

I wish that I had a felt mouse called Hannah like the other lady on comments!!. Will now have to go and buy one. My mum used to take me to John Lewis. It was always posh. I was 8 yrs old so have great memories of huge meringues filled with cream.
