Jeremy is on fire. This month he has provided fastai course, APL study group, live coding tutorial and nbdev. Two more days before month end. I am wondering what else is coming. Wow!!!! Thanks a lot jeremy.
For those looking at this 2023, I ran into issue wrt `patch is not defined` when trying to import into index.ipynb via `from nbdev_cards.card import *` or when nbdev_test was run. Make sure you add a `#| export` in the imports cell as well.
About the suits of cards around t=19:00, the length of that string is 8. So to show the first emoji, one needs to do a suits[0:1], for example. This would print "♣"
Thanks for this demonstration of nbdev. It is a great way to build notebooks and as you and Hamel mentioned, you get everything done in a single process. Documentation and the website together with the code. I think this is a benefit for productivity. One question I have as a not very proficient Python developer is about the options 'nbdev_conda' and 'nbdev_pypi'. This question is probably not nbdev specific, but it still bothers me. When I got it right from the video, then you were able to just upload this code to pypi and the user can then install the packet by using pip install. Does that mean, that I have to check each and every packet I install with pip or just decide if I trust the source of the packet?
Has anyone got nbdev working on Anaconda Windows? Iv'e read it on an older doc that it only "works on Windows under WSL, but not under cmd or Powershell" and I'm using the Anaconda prompt and running into issues :) I'm going to try again in a new conda env
an nbdev with windows tutorial/dedicated docs would be great. I've found a lot of nbdev commands run into issues or don't run even with the aid of wsl.

And also teaching his daughter math with code!
Cocaine is a hell of a job. I mean drive. Automatic code sucks. This predictive Tex sucks. Cocaine is a hell of a drug
Jeremy is back in Australia so Christmas is in July. What a treat!
I cant express how much excitement I feel at watching and following this tutorial
Happy to hear that!
This is going to save me hours. Thanks for making a developer’s life easier!

Thanks for this tutorial, Jeremy! Great learning environment. it's 3:30 am here in Mangoplah, NSW.

Thanks for this gem! Glad that I finally took some time out to get into nbdev!
Thank you! nbdev has been an absolutely game changer in everything I do.
Wouldn't it be a fun sideproject to develop a linter/formatter that adheres to your styleguide? :D
Thanks a lot Jeremy!
Do you have any plan on covering e.g. poetry for managing dependencies during package development? Thanks in advance.
Content is there, have patience for learning.
Don’t be afraid, just embrace it.

Jeremy I like the way you write code xD

dont need WSL, works in a new conda virtual env
I got this error on Mac when I ran nbdev_new "/bin/sh: quarto: command not found". How do I install quarto?
Thank you man!
Does anyone know how to set the color font in Notebook
Fonts too small....atleast zoom it ......
Also we need a quick 10 min quickfire intro...... Not some prolonged preaching.....

I use constantly with the bash terminal in cmder without major issues.
You should try it with cygwin.... And I don't mean its easier. Its harder. But hard is fun.
if you have the option to install wsl2 (windows subsystem for linux), everything is running just fine (including gpu)
Has anyone made a Machine Learning / Deep learning personal project and used nbdev?
I need to understand that flow!
MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How to install quarto on fedora?
Not related to nbdev, if you're into Linux figure it out with your community.
This video has only 360p resolution. Could you please improve the quality if possible. Thanks
it's 1080 now. Usually youtube takes sometime to show it in high res.
Okay. Super. I didn’t know. 🙂
