It's a government school, while you can get into the first year of primary school through lottery (well depends on where you live), the secondary school entry depends entirely on your grades. It has a nice learning environment, I've studied there since primary school and while I transferred schools to another nation before I can graduate, I can say with confidence that going to MCS is still one of the best decisions in my life.
