    Sweet setup!
    I have seen similar rigs, done several different ways.
    This method seems efficient, and very cool! :D
    Thanx Fred!

      Are the bricks the 2300F fire bricks?

    • @FREDSHED
      @FREDSHED  Před 2 lety

      @@danharold3087 that was one wheel, and some other small car parts, the bricks came from an old fire stove, I'm not sure on the technical details of the bricks.

    Is that steel?

    • @FREDSHED
      @FREDSHED  Před 4 lety

      The wheel was aluminum, the rest is steel, the pot we used to collect the aluminum was stainless steel, we melted that thing, got a large crucible over the winter, can't wait till we use it.

    • @IAMSatisfied
      @IAMSatisfied Před rokem

      It's made from a flat, clamp-on lid for a 55 gallon drum. Note the radial weld seam where a pie-wedge was removed before drawing the edges together & welding.
