Literally the only 2 games the Mavs lost were the ones where Luka just had a SLUMP of chunking up shots. And one was a big comeback and honestly that should’ve been a win. Idk why they doubted the Mavs. Luka with a hurting Knee looks hella different, doesn’t look like his fully self at all.
The only reason this went to 6 games was cause Luka is carrying that bum knee. Sprained knee means you can’t balance your weight when you’re shooting so makes sense that his efficiency suddenly went terrible. Even with Luka playing like this, the matches we lost were by a very small margin so for sure i don’t see why we wouldn’t have swept otherwise

@@akshayar2467it was also because of the 3 ball variance. The Clippers shot like 50 and 60% from 3pt in the games that they won. They just made some tough shots and got big leads. Otherwise, Mavs dominated the series.

I think you're missing the point, no matter how good Kyrie becomes on defense, he will ALWAYS be known for his handles, scoring, and finishing.

Bruh lost his dad very young. And his moms raised him on her own. Drove him to all his practices, watched all his games. And after a long battle with cancer she passed away earlier this year. The dude barely turned 20 and he's lost BOTH his parents. Like 20 years old and MAAAAAAAYBE 4 months old when his mom's died.
And now he's just out there ballin in the NBA playoffs as a 20 year old rookie. He's fighting for the only family he's got left....his teammates. The Mavs are a TIGHT squad. I doubt we've EVER seen Kyrie THIS happy & comfortable before. I've never seen Luka this happy in the NBA before. Exum has gotta be insanely happy to be back in the NBA and on a playoff roster. DJJ is out there happy as hell to be getting some playoff shine after EVERYONE passed on him...the dude was like THE LAST free agent signed to a 1 year vet minimum. Gafford & PJ are happy as hell too. PJ out there standin on bidness for his hometown team. Gafford is close to home too and out of NBA jail known as the Wizards.
The Mavs is what basketball is about!!! It's team over everyone. It's picking up when your teammate is down (on the court or off it). And when you got a LOCKED IN team out there for one another.....EVERYONE should be a fan of the Mavs. They're doing it right.
You're telling us that you didn't actually watch the game when you scoff at Kyrie's comment about being known for his defense. His defense at the point of attack in this game was a big reason (if not the biggest reason) for why the Mavs won.
I agree with you as someone who has been watching these games kyrie and luka especially kyrie has stepped a lot on defense especially last game. I disagreed with him but he did make the point not that kyrie can’t be good on defense but that he won’t be known for defense which is likely true

@@rolandorban6248Mavs were beating the clips with or without Kawhi. They’ve been the best defensive team since February. They came into the playoffs super hot on an 18-3 run. Clips were struggling at the end of the season. Better team won.
